I spent Saturday watching action from Indianapolis as this weekend served as the Grit Regional finals. Most of my coverage was spent watching the 16U level and will be highlighted by position starting first with the top Guards.

Allen Brigg (2024) Team GRIII White (Michigan City)

Brigg has a scrappy style of play that was on display for Team GRIII White. Got decent penetration off the perimeter and excelled in transition when they got out on the break. Good size for a SG at 6'2 and athletic enough that D3 schools likely should know his name.

[player_tooltip player_id="1285529" first="Emersen" last="Davis"] (2024) Team Rose 3SSB

Davis was lethal for Team Rose competed against All Area Basketball. The lefty guard was arguably the best slasher I watched as he was so quick off the bounce and was getting whatever he wanted look wise off the bounce. Sometimes was a little selfish but certainly has a ton of offensive upside.

Tristian Ford (2024) Team Rose 3SSB

Ford was another solid option for Team Rose that was borderline 2G or SF. Ford brought some length at 6'4 and impressed with his combination of handles and size. Tight handle and long legs. True scholarship potential player.

Jye Rudolph (2024) All Area Basketball Program (Franklin Central)

Rudolph brings versatility and all around scoring for his All Area team that competed against a 3SSB team. Great footwork on his jumpshot as he excelled with both his stepback jumper as well as his shooting off the catch. Great acceleration and gets downhill quick. Only 5'10 so he could end up being a quality prospect as he grows.

[player_tooltip player_id="1401933" first="Damien" last="Keys"] (2024) INB Platinum Elite (Warren Central)

Keys had one of the higher motors I watched. Was all over floor and covered so much ground on the defensive end. Runs the floor well for a bigger guard. Solid finisher around the rim with multiple layups and shots around the rim.

I spent Saturday watching action from Indianapolis as this weekend served as the Grit Regional finals. Most of my coverage was spent watching the 16U level and will be highlighted by position starting first with the top Guards.
