Gentry had one of the biggest individual quarters of last week I saw, scoring 13 points in the second quarter of their matchup with Kelso. The North Thurston Rams eventually pulled away for a big win but it was Gentry’s hot quarter that got the ball rolling and helped them start separating themselves from the Hilanders. His big quarter really hinged on some hot shooting from 3, knocking down three of them plus doing some work inside with tough finishes and drawing fouls. You could feel momentum shifting and other players feeding off of his play. Gentry even made some big defensive plays during the run, getting his hands in on drives and tipping balls out on the perimeter.
