Weekly Recruiting Update

<p>It seems like we say this every week for our recruiting update, but each week just gets busier than the last when it comes to the Indiana recruiting scene. Once again, commitments were made, visits were taken, and offers were extended for prospects at all levels. Let’s dive right in and go over everything that has happened over the last week.</p> <ul> <li>After visiting the school and earning an offer on Tuesday, 6’7" forward [player_tooltip player_id="935722" first="Mason" last="Jones"] wasted no time committing to Ball State. Jones was really good with the Indiana Junior All-Stars and had a great finish to the spring playing with Team GRIII Elite on the Prep Hoops Circuit.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="935727" first="Jaylen" last="Mullen"] (North Daviess H.S. 2023) announced his commitment to Oakland City on Friday evening. The 6’0" guard was the leading scorer on North Daviess Class 1A State Championship team as a junior and will now lead them into the Class 3A tournament this winter. Nice recruiting win for Oakland City to land the local standout.</li> <li>Providence commit [player_tooltip player_id="1391463" first="Garwey" last="Dual"] (Carmel H.S. 2023) announced that he would be playing his senior season at Southern California Academy.</li> <li>6’10" 5-star center [player_tooltip player_id="1363488" first="Flory" last="Bidunga"] (Kokomo H.S. 2024) was offered by Auburn and Arizona State over the weekend.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1296972" first="Alex" last="Couto"] (Carmel H.S. 2025) earned his first scholarship offer from Huntington. The sharp-shooting guard had a strong weekend at the Charlie Hughes Showcase.</li> <li>6’5" wing Lane Hoefler (West Washington H.S. 2023) visited Manchester and received an offer while on campus.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1158245" first="Jack" last="Benter"] (Brownstown Central H.S. 2024) was offered by Purdue earlier in the week. They likely won’t be the only high-major program to get involved as we head into the July live periods.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1049169" first="Markus" last="Burton"] (Penn H.S. 2023) was offered by Ball State while on an unofficial visit on Tuesday. He also added offers from Southern Indiana, Appalachian State, Illinois-Chicago, Western Michigan, and SIU-Edwardsville during the week.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1158204" first="K.J." last="Windham"] (Ben Davis H.S. 2024) added an offer from Akron on Friday afternoon.</li> <li>6’6" wing [player_tooltip player_id="868239" first="Cooper" last="Farrall"] (Culver Academy 2023) earned his first Division I offer from Purdue Fort Wayne while visiting the school on Monday.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="868252" first="Jaron" last="Tibbs"] (Cathedral H.S. 2023), an Indiana Junior All-Star who is also a standout on the gridiron, committed to play football at Purdue.</li> <li>6’8" shooter [player_tooltip player_id="1042491" first="Sam" last="Orme"] (Carmel H.S. 2023) picked up an offer from Belmont.</li> <li>6’6" sharp-shooter [player_tooltip player_id="868251" first="Jake" last="Davis"] (Cathedral H.S. 2023) was offered by Northwood.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1160680" first="Gavin" last="Welch"] (New Castle H.S. 2023), just a few days removed from receiving his first couple of offers, added a scholarship from IU-East.</li> <li>6’10" big man [player_tooltip player_id="1272428" first="David" last="Meriwether"] (Lawrence North H.S. 2023) added offers from Illinois State and SIU-Edwardsville during the week.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1295304" first="Jackson" last="Price"] (Mishawka Marian H.S. 2023) picked up his first offer from Concordia Ann Arbor. Price has had a really good spring and summer shooting the basketball.</li> <li>6’7" left-handed wing [player_tooltip player_id="868228" first="Jermaine" last="Coleman"] (Park Tudor 2023) received offers from SIU-Edwardsville and Valparaiso.</li> <li>6’2" point guard [player_tooltip player_id="1273713" first="Sheridan" last="Sharp"] (Ben Davis H.S. 2023) added an offer from Kent State.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1275771" first="Ron" last="Rutland III"] (Crispus Attucks H.S. 2024) took an unofficial visit to IUPUI. He holds an offer from the Jaguars.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1150871" first="Aidan" last="Franks"] (Wapahani H.S. 2023) got his first offer from Trine while visiting the school during the week.</li> <li>Cameron Freeman (Brebeuf Jesuit 2023) got his first offer from Rhodes.</li> <li>6’9" big man [player_tooltip player_id="1042497" first="Zane" last="Doughty"] (Ben Davis H.S. 2023) visited Valparaiso and earned an offer while on campus. He was also offered by New Orleans during the week.</li> <li>Trine offered [player_tooltip player_id="1272950" first="Nolan" last="Cumberland"] (Tippecanoe Valley H.S. 2023) on Wednesday.</li> </ul>
