Very few players in Ohio can shoot it like Wilson as the 6’4 wing is almost automatic when he’s left alone from outside. One of the prettiest jumpers in the state, Wilson has a quick release, and his feet are always ‘shot ready’. If Wilson can continue to improve on the defensive end, he will have the ability to play a role at the next level because college coaches are always looking for shooters with size and few fit the bill like Wilson.

If we’re talking about who would win a 3-point contest among all 2023 prospects in the state of Ohio, Wilson would be in my top 5 because this kid has a burner. Wilson has decent size for a wing guard and has improved by using pump fakes and using his size to occasionally drive to the basket. But don’t get confused, Wilson wants to shoot from long range and why not because he shoots a crazy high percentage from downtown. If Wilson can continue to expand his shot profile, there’s no reason why he can’t be a productive college player with his size, length and deadly shooting ability.

If you want a shooter, Wilson is your guy. At Midwest Live, Wilson showed me one of the best shooting performances I’ve seen live, going probably around 9/12 on 3-pointers in the game. If Wilson can continue to get shots up at that rate without Cooper Davis next to him, he’ll climb up our rankings. Olentangy Liberty has some quality depth pieces back and could be a surprise team in the toughest OCC conference.
