Reid Harriss Reid Harriss 6'4" | PF Pinckneyville | 2023 State IL (Illinois Bears Gunter 17U)
Harriss is a 6’4” combo forward from Steeleville that had an impressive outing on Friday night. The small college gem was effective finishing around the hoop on dump off passes, seals, and got on the offensive glass. Flashed skill with a mid-range jumper and liked how he competed defensively swatting a shot and taking a steal the other way for a layup.
Gavin Smith Gavin Smith 6'1" | SG Mount Carmel | 2023 IL (Illinois Bears Gunter 17U)
This 6’1” shooting guard caught our attention with a productive first game. He was at his best in transition where he pushed, filled the lane, and got to the foul line. Often it started with his defense as he would get steals and take them the other way for scores.
Jackson Adkins Jackson Adkins 6'4" | SF Rantoul | 2023 IL (Illinois Basketball Club 17U)
Rantoul 6’4” shooting guard that presents projectability at the next level. Lanky and athletic wing that was best putting it on the deck and converting and-1s on the regular. Nifty finisher at the cup that has smooth acceleration with the ball.
Koby Wilmoth Koby Wilmoth 6'8" | PF O'Fallon | 2023 State IL (Rush Academy 17U)
Centralia power forward has nice size and strength at 6’8”. He showed glimpses during the high school season and it was good to see him notch 15 points against a good level of competition. Hit several threes stretching the floor and drew contact on the interior. Rebounds pretty well in his area and is a solid athlete.
Nicholas Cunningham (Sky Ice Elite 17U)
This Decatur MacArthur point guard dropped 18 points on Saturday morning against the Illinois Basketball Club. Quick and shifty scoring point guard that has a knack for getting in the lane and making regular trips to the foul line. Solid float game as well.
Tyler Beck Tyler Beck 6'1" | SG Williamsville | 2023 IL (Big Time 17U)
Williamsville shooting guard at 6’1” can flat out let it fly from distance! He has a crisp and clean looking three point stroke that he hit in bunches off the catch. Strong build as well.
Jacob Finley (Big Time 17U)
The other Williamsville product that caught our attention was this 6’8” center. Wide bodied five that has good footwork around the hoop and knows how to use his body to anchor down low and score on the block. Solid length and rebounds in his area. Worth looking at for small colleges that use a traditional five.
