Parkway West | 2023
State
MO
(LHBA 2023): The 6’3″ 2023 guard from Parkway West was one of the most impressive offensive players that I watched during the day. He looked the part of a prototype shooting guard with his size, athletic build and three-level scoring ability. He was more of a slasher last year, which was very effective, but his total offensive package has continued to evolve. He has developed a feathery touch from 3-point range to go along with his athletic drives to the basket. He scored 31 points to lead his team to a victory in the afternoon.

MO
(Team Tru 2024): The 6’4″ 2024 guard from CBC looked every part of a Division I prospect as he made things look easy in every facet of the game. He was dominant on the offensive end with slashing drives and perimeter shooting, but he did it in a very unselfish manner. He created easy opportunities for his teammates with his passing skills when he drew that extra defender.
Joey Matteoni (Drive-5 Select 2023):
Drive-5 Select 2023): A 6’7″ 2024 forward from Blue Valley Northwest (KS) who was playing up at the 17U level and looked like one of the more well-rounded bigs in the event that I saw. He literally did a little bit of everything in the game I watched against Mo Thunder. He displayed the ability to score with his back to the basket with good moves and footwork and he stepped out and hit the 3-pointer off the pick and pop. He controlled the defensive boards and could also lead the fast break. He could pass and facilitate on the offensive end while also being able to block shots at the other end.

Seckman | 2024
State
MO
(Triple Threat Academy 2024): The 6’4″ 2024 point guard from Seckman is a very entertaining player to watch with his passing skills alone. His court vision and overall basketball IQ are terrific as he can pass his teammates open. He knows you are open before you know you are open. He dropped some beautiful dimes throughout the day. He is also a talented bucket-getter with excellent 3-point range and the ability to create his own shot. His shooting range extends well beyond the 3-point line.

Kipp St.Louis | 2022
MO
(St Louis Pistons 2023): The unsigned 6’2″ 2022 guard from KIPP-St. Louis had a strong performance in the game I watched against the Illinois Bears-White. He’s a physical guard who can power his way to the basket while also being able to pull up from 3-point range. He scored 25 points in his team’s victory with a number of buckets coming on multiple high-arching jumpers from long distance. His confidence level was high and it grew with each shot that went in. He was also an aggressive defender and good rebounder.

MICDS | 2024
State
MO
(Gateway-Knights 2024-UA): A 5’10″ 2024 point guard from MICDS is an excellent floor leader who can spark a team with his play at both ends of the court. He’s a very good on-ball defender who can apply constant pressure and be disruptive with his quickness and tenacity. He distributes the ball well and he has the ability to go and get a bucket when he needs to.

North Callaway | 2023
State
MO
(COMO-TNT White 2023): The 6’0″ 2023 guard from North Callaway plays the perfect role of “Mr. Instant Offense” when he enters the game. I watched him on tape during the season and he was quite a bucket for his high school team. Watching him for the first time in person, I was impressed with how skilled and offensive-minded he was while still fitting within a team concept. He can shoot the 3-pointer and he also scored on some nice takes to the bucket with both hands.
