2024 Rankings Update: Stock Risers

<p>The class of 2024 rankings update dropped, which means a lot of new names and movement in the rankings. Many players have boosted their stock showing that they were worth more than their previous rank. Here are some players who have made the biggest jumps up in the rankings. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1369780" first="Charlie" last="Spann"] - ThunderRidge</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1369780" first="Charlie" last="Spann"] is a player who did not see many varsity minutes at the powerhouse school ThunderRidge but has proven to be a top 10 prospect during the AAU season. Charlie is a big 6’5 wing who uses his size to overpower defenders and finish through heavy contact. From beyond the three-point arc, Charlie has a knockdown jumper, he is very good at jabbing and then hitting shots in defender’s faces. Charlie shows the potential to be a deadly three-level scorer. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1318379" first="Tevin" last="Riehl"] - Mesa Ridge</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1318379" first="Tevin" last="Riehl"] is a knockdown shooter who plays with a chip on his shoulder, he has moved up from the low 50s to just outside of the top 10. Tevin is a super competitive player who brings it on both ends of the floor. Tevin can shoot the ball both off the catch or the dribble, he is great at using his pump fake and quick one-dribble pull-up. Tevin uses good fundamental footwork to get open when dribbling, using small but effective side steps and stepbacks to create space. Tevin is an elite shooter with a bulky frame who is one of the toughest guards to defend in the class.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1139988" first="Deshawn" last="Fox"] - Manual</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1139988" first="Deshawn" last="Fox"] is an elite athlete who stands out with his bulldog mentality, he has moved up more than 20 spots. Deshawn stands at 6’5 pushing 6’6, he uses his bounce and long arms to block a ton of shots for a wing. He is a player who is not afraid to go block a high flyer on a dunk attempt. On the other end of the floor, he is a high flyer who makes momentum-changing plays with big dunks. Deshawn when moving off of the ball shows potential to be a great slasher. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1318387" first="Mac" last="Terry"] - Rock Canyon</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1318387" first="Mac" last="Terry"] is a big wing who is great at filling whatever role coach could ask of him. Offensively Mac is good at running around screens and shoots a good percentage. When catching the ball Mac automatically gets the ball in his shooting pocket and has a very quick release. For a wing Mac does a very good job cleaning the boards on both ends of the floor, he crashes the offensive boards very hard creating big second chance opportunities. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1369788" first="Matthew" last="Lee"] - Cherry Creek</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1369788" first="Matthew" last="Lee"] was a player who played a good role on Cherry Creek this past year and during the AAU season has been showing off his shifting handles and deep bag of tricks to get the ball in the basket. Matthew is able to be so effective with his ball and head fakes due to his knockdown shooting ability. He is a good shooter from both mid-range and beyond the three-point arc. Off of the dribble, he is good at dribbling into a rhythm and hitting tough contested shots in the mid-range.</p>
