Who Wants the Smoke Day 3

<p>The final day was bitter sweet as the platform was coming to an end but we also had an opportunity to catch a few more games and elite matchups between some really good teams that have talented players on the roster. Here are some more standouts that made some noise on Day 3.</p> <p><strong>5’11 PG Christopher Brown Jr. || SE Elite 3SSB || 2025 ||</strong></p> <p>You see all the videos and you hear the hype and you might question it a bit, but seeing this kid live really puts things into perspective. He looks like a baby against a lot of these hold backs and 18 year olds but he finds ways to get it done. He is a crafty defender playing the passing lanes and anticipating passes as well as just being active all the time. He actually does a good job rebounding and finding lanes to for outlets so that he can get out on the break quickly. He has his head up scanning the floor and made some great reads and passes all weekend. If you are a shooter or a high flyer he is a player to play with because he puts it on the money. Scores the ball at all three levels. He is still developing physically and athletically but he gets everything out of what he has to work with. He will be a player that will get a lot of buzz moving forward, especially taking out a good EYBL Team as a 15U kid playing at the 17U level. </p> <p><strong>6’3 PG [player_tooltip player_id="1057020" first="Jordan" last="Barnes"] || Utah Prospects 3SSB || 2024 ||</strong></p> <p>Jordan is the catalyst of that well oiled machine that the Prospects have at the 16U level. He handled the ball so well as he can make one move and go or he can go from one side to another and find space. When he does get by his defender he has so much pace and change of speed to his game that he can attract a defender and find an open man with his great vision with ease. He had his shot rolling for him and he was just IQ-ing the defense to death. Jordan really has a nice next level game. </p> <p><strong>7’1 C [player_tooltip player_id="994925" first="Dennis" last="Evans"] || Inland || 2023 ||</strong></p> <p>With two really solid offers from UCLA and UC Riverside you would think his phone would be ringing off the hook. He is that ultimate rim protector with that crazy reach and he stays on his feet which means he has been taught the right way. I could see a nice MM team that is good extend an offer as he could probably play right away for them and be a difference maker. His timing is great and on the offensive glass he is a problem. He is tough and uses his legs and has a nice little mid-range to go with it. He has a high ceiling. </p> <p><strong>6’3 PG [player_tooltip player_id="901987" first="Aaron" last="Carter"] || Next Page Force || 2022 ||</strong></p> <p>Looking for a late addition unsigned senior, take a look at Aaron as this kid plays bigger than he is. He has great composure to go along with his tough style of pay. He does not stop as he is a go getter. He makes the extra pass and he can create some separation that is complimented with a nice outside jumper. He’s worth the look. </p> <p><strong>6’5 SF [player_tooltip player_id="1332074" first="Dylan" last="Warlick"] || Team Griffin EYBL || 2024 ||</strong></p> <p>At 210 lbs. Dylan throws his weight around and bullies some defenders out there. Quick 1st and 2nd jump which allow him to play a lot on the blocks. He showed his perimeter game and drives and a nice spin move he goes to often. Really like him developing more as a three but he dominates at times as a small forward.
