Speaking of defense. Branson was huge in his team’s state championship run. He played some solid perimeter defense against some of the most talented guards in the state over the 2 tournament games. Branson played D with quickness, speed and energy.

Branson turned a lot of heads with his play in the win against East Kentwood. He was picked as a All-Gottagetit Classic Honorable Mention. Let’s start with his defense. Branson made plays on that end. He hustled back on defense and flat out stopped a fast break score. Literally saved his team 2 points early in the game. Branson showed the ability to effectively defend the entire length of the floor. He was an impressive passer in the open floor and had a couple 2 handed dunk finishes.
