2024 Post Prospects Who Could Breakout This Month

<p>April is already almost halfway over as AAU teams are starting the spring season. Prospects are looking to make a name for themselves in front of college coaches, especially the players in the paint. Here are the 2024 post prospects who have the potential to breakout this month.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1153968" first="Alex" last="Konov"], 6’7 PF Manasquan</strong></p> <p>Konov is an intriguing prospect to watch due to his ability to space the floor. The 6’7 forward is comfortable playing on the perimeter as he has a nice release on his jumper and can put the ball on the floor as well. Konov has a nice touch around the basket and moves well without the ball. He is an underrated post defender as he can hold his ground and wall up down low. Konov is a stretch-four prospect who could see his stock rise if he is able to knock down triples and crash the boards hard.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1153952" first="Eunique" last="Rink"], 6’8 C Payne Tech</strong></p> <p>Rink is a prospect to keep an eye as he is of the top interior presences in the class. The 6’8 post is a good shot-blocker as he uses his combination of size and timing to impact shots around the basket. Rink is a strong rebounder as he is tough to boxout on both ends of the floor and secures second opportunities for his team. He uses his frame to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Rink is a physical post prospect whose ability to change the game in the post should help his stock in a big way.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1407003" first="Tito" last="Majak"], 6’10 C Olympus Prep</strong></p> <p>Majak is a prospect who could rise up the board quickly with his combination of size and athleticism. The lanky 6’10 prospect runs the floor hard, creating easy baskets for himself in transition. Majak is capable of finishing around the rim and working on his range. He uses his length to impact shots around the basket and is a solid rebounder. Majak has the potential to have a strong spring AAU season, which would help his stock in a big way.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1407078" first="Sam" last="Tornabene"], 6’6 SF/PF St. Peter’s Prep</strong></p> <p>Tornabene will most likely end up on the perimeter at the next level, but has the potential to play down low as well. The 6’6 forward has a smooth shooting stroke and can knock down jumpers in bunches. Tornabene is more than just a shooter as he can also attack the basket from the perimeter and finish strong. He slides his feet well on the defensive end and is an underrated passer. Tornabene is a sharpshooting forward who should have a big spring season.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1407254" first="DJ" last="Orloff"], 6’5 PF Howell</strong></p> <p>Orloff is a breakout contender as he gets the opportunity to showcase his skillset. The 6’5 forward has a good touch around the basket and is capable of drawing contact down low. Orloff is a solid passer and rarely makes poor decisions with the ball in his hands. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and sets good screens in the half court. Orloff is set for a big spring with his ability to impact the game in multiple ways on offense.</p>
