Colorado’s Top High School Scorers 2021-2022

<p>In this article, we take a look at the top six scorers in Colorado 2021-2022. These guys were able to catch fire and consistently put on a scoring performance for their team. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="618880" first="Jordan" last="Reed"]- Manual 29.1 ppg</strong></p> <p>The Gatorade Player of the Year in Colorado [player_tooltip player_id="618880" first="Jordan" last="Reed"] was leading the state in scoring averaging 29.1 points per game. Jordan has great size standing at 6’4 and is an athletic guard who is great at using his handles to create space for shots. From three-point range, he does not need much space as he has a very quick release. Jordan used his large frame to score above and over players with floaters and layups. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="965813" first="Will" last="Yebio"]- Bishop Machebeuf 27.3 ppg</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="965813" first="Will" last="Yebio"] is a senior with a big bag of tricks he uses to score the ball. Will is quick on his feet and has shifty handles that allow him to get around defenders and split double teams. From mid to three-point range he likes to the stepback to create space for his jumper. Near the rim, he is creative finishing with euro steps, spin moves, and hop steps. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="918901" first="Sam" last="Howery"]- Saint Mary’s 26.6 ppg</strong></p> <p>The CSU Pueblo commit [player_tooltip player_id="918901" first="Sam" last="Howery"] was the third-best scorer in the state and was second in the state in assist, he can really do it all. The 6’0 floor general is one of the best teammates in the state, he uses his scoring ability to draw in defenders and put teammates into spots where they can score. Sam has super shifty handles and gets low when going downhill. Near the rim, he likes to finish smoothly with finger roles. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1285224" first="Ethan" last="Levin"]- Kent Denver 25.4 ppg</strong></p> <p>The only junior on this list is the sharpshooter from Kent Denver, [player_tooltip player_id="1285224" first="Ethan" last="Levin"]. Ethan uses defenders guarding him tightly on the three-point line to zoom by them after using quick head fakes. Getting downhill Ethan is very fast and can create contact then extend his body for finger rolls. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="918906" first="Aidan" last="Kuhl"]- Rocky Mountain 24.7 ppg</strong></p> <p>The North Alabama commit is one of the most skilled scorers the state has seen in recent years. Aidan can attack off of the dribble and triple threat, he uses his jab step and pivot to create shots. Off of the dribble, Aidan can stop on a dime for pull up or stepback jumpers. With a hot hand, there are not many players harder to stop than Aidan.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1284479" first="Mason" last="Black"]- Falcon 24 ppg</strong></p> <p>The Western State commit has one of the smoothest jumpers in the state. Mason no matter the contest keeps his form consistent and has a high release which is hard to contest. Mason is great at running off of screens and quickly getting his feet set to shoot in rhythm. He is a great set shooter and pull-up shooter, this allows him to use pump fakes to one-dribble pull-ups often.</p>
