Spencer Christenson | Prep Hoops Scout
Luke is a D1 football commit, but that didn’t stop him from boosting up the Prep Hoops Dakotas ranking board. He had a solid offseason on the basketball court, with physicality and a surprisingly productive offensive game as a finisher at the hoop. Relentless effort and powerful motor.

The South Dakota State football commit shows toughness on the basketball court as well. I think his stock is up some in the 2025 class because he showed with Hoop City South Dakota that he can bang in the paint against good competition in the Midwest. He’s got a strong build to him at 6’5” and moves well on the court to where he can defend multiple positions. Plays extremely hard and lays it all out there on the court. In his Senior season with Sioux Falls Lincoln, he’ll finally get a meaningful varsity role, and be one of the most physical Bigs in AA ball.

He has a nose for the ball and it does not matter if someone is in his way. Luke will do whatever it takes to get possession. Krempges rebounds hard and he comes up with the rock a majority of time on 50/50 balls. He will dive on the floor in a blink of an eye. Luke does a ton of of the little things and this helped lead his team to many victories.
