MHSAA District Opener: OK Conference Top Performers

<p>The MHSAA boys basketball playoffs tipped off last night as teams across the state battled to take one step closer to the Breslin. Check out who the top performers were from the Grand Rapids area below.</p> <h6>[player_tooltip player_id="902884" first="Jakhary" last="Towns"], Godwin Heights 2023"</h6> <p>Jakhary scored 31 points, dished out five assists, and grabbed five rebounds in Godwin’s 87-78 overtime win over Kelloggsville. Godwin will play Grand Rapids Christian in a Division 2 district semifinal at Kelloggsville High School on Wednesday at 7 pm.</p> <h6>[player_tooltip player_id="1213127" first="Javion" last="Otten"], Kenowa Hills 2023"</h6> <p>Javion scored 31 points in Kenowa Hills’ 67-54 win over Muskegon Mona Shores. Kenowa Hills will play Muskegon in a Division 1 district semifinal at Muskegon High School on Wednesday at 7 pm.</p> <h6>[player_tooltip player_id="1068265" first="Bashir" last="Neely"], Grand Haven 2022"</h6> <p>Bashir scored 30 points in Grand Haven’s 69-57 win over Muskegon Reeths-Puffer. Grand Haven will play Coopersville in a Division 1 district semifinal at Muskegon High School on Wednesday at 5:30 pm.</p> <h6>[player_tooltip player_id="1211147" first="Brayden" last="Wilkerson"], NorthPointe Christian 2022"</h6> <p>Brayden scored 28 points in NorthPointe’s win over Saranac.
