Region 7-7A Playoff Standouts

<p>Taking a look at 7A standouts from Region 7.</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="1300688" first="Brycen" last="Blaine"] (Guard) 6’5 Berkmar- Blaine is shifty and athletic. Long arms helps him defend well. Can get to the basket with ease and has a smooth finish at the glass. High energy player who blocks shots and creates turnovers. Brycen can also run the offense well and create open looks for teammates. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="870169" first="Christian" last="Drummer"] (Guard) </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">6’4 Archer- Christian can shoot the ball and gets to his spots well. Knocks down open shots and can also pass the ball. Solid on-ball defender who creates pressure and gets steals. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Elijah Davis (Guard) 6’4 Archer- Elijah is an excellent on and off-ball defender Good rebounder. Never gives up on the hustle plays and prides himself on boxing out to get second-chance points. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="598778" first="Jameel" last="Rideout"] (Guard) 6’2 Berkmar- Rideout is an elite scorer from all three levels. Knocks down open shots and can get hot with ease. I watched him score the first 12 points of the game. Gets his teammates involved and controls the game very well. Good on and off-ball defender who is tough and hustles hard, dives on the floor for loose balls, and gives the extra effort for second-chance points. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="1049113" first="Jerry" last="Deng"] (Forward) 6’8 Norcross- Jerry is long and can stretch the whole floor at 6’8. He can shoot the ball very well from the corner and does not miss open shots. A solid defender in the paint and can rebound the ball.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="820290" first="Keishawn" last="Hampton"] (Guard) 6’0 Meadowcreek- Hampton has a very high motor and brings lots of energy to the court. Can score at all three levels and can get hot at any time. Solid defender who is tough and scrappy, gives the extra effort on hustle plays. Also a good passer who can create easy shots for his teammates. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kyle Collins</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (Guard) 6’3 Archer- Elite defender who is tough and brings lots of energy and creates turnovers. Collins can also finish at the rim in traffic and contact. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="1049219" first="London" last="Johnson"] (Guard) 6’4 Norcross- London can score from all three levels on the floor at an elite level. He can also run the offense with his high basketball IQ and control the pace of the game. At 6’4 a taller guard Johnson has no problems creating his own shot and getting to the basket at will.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="870148" first="Malique" last="Ewin"] (Center) 6’10 Berkmar- When you enter the gym Malique immediately grabs your attention. Has good footwork and can move for his size, can also handle the ball and run the offense. Plays well above the rim protects the paint blocking and altering lots of shots. Also has a soft inside touch, can knock down the midrange and his free throws. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="1045087" first="Mier" last="Panoam"] (Guard ) 6’4 Norcross- Athletic guard who can attack the basket with ease and has a quick change of pace to get to his spots. On defense Mier plays great on ball defense, gets steals and blocks lots of shots with his athleticism. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="1231780" first="Samarion" last="Bond"] (Forward) 6’4 Norcross- Bond is an athletic wing who brings lots of energy and tenacity to the court. Samarion can defend positions 1 through 4 on the court. Hustles for loose balls and rebounds. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Seth Means (Guard) 6’2 Archer- Seth is a knockdown shooter from three and midrange who has a good IQ of the game. Plays calm and knows where he and his teammates are supposed to be on the court. </span></p>
