“The season has gone pretty well for me,” Aaron said. “As a team we have won some big games but we have also lost some tough ones too that we should’ve had.”
The Bulldogs have played one of the state’s most difficult schedules with 13 of the 18 teams they’ve played having won double figures games already. Eleven of those teams have been ranked this year.
Playing this schedule has helped Aaron develop.
“I have developed more confidence and have become a much better shooter from my sophomore year to this year,” Fiegen said.
Games with Dakota Valley and Milbank finish the regular season and then the playoffs start.
“We are in a very tough region with Sioux Falls Christian, Dell Rapids, and Flandreau so we will need to focus on making it out of our region and sweet 16. After that our goal every year in Madison is to win the state title.”
It’s early but Aaron has improved enough to hear from schools at all levels that compete in South Dakota.
“I have heard from two division one schools, and several division two and NAIA schools,” Aaron said.
