The lone “upset” in the first round based on seeding was George Washington knocking off Cardinal Ritter. Ammon Burns is averaging 16.7 points per game for the 10-3 Continentals. They are a sneaky good team in 3A. Cathedral earned the #1 seed and a bye in the first round. They are currently 10-4 and haven’t played since last Wednesday when they lost to Carmel. Eastern Kentucky signee Tayshawn Comer Tayshawn Comer 6'0" | PG Cathedral | 2022 State #226 Nation IN leads the Fighting Irish with 17.2 points and 5.7 assists per game.
Crispus Attucks @ Bishop Chatard
Bishop Chatard is one of the surprise teams in city as they are off to a perfect 13-0 start under Kenny Roseman. The Trojans defeated Purdue Poly Englewood 85-41 in the first round of the tournament. Senior point guard A.J. Roseman A.J. Roseman 6'0" | PG Bishop Chatard | 2022 State IN is scoring a team-high 16.6 points per game. Attucks has had an up-and-down season but has won three straight to get over .500 at 8-7. Senior wing Christian Nunn Christian Nunn 6'3" | SF L'anse Creuse North | 2022 State IN continues to put together a great season averaging 20.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Senior guard Latrell Williams has stepped into a larger role as well now averaging 10.0 points.

The Titans of Arsenal Tech have rattled off 10 straight wins and are arguably the hottest team in the state at this point. Covenant Christian squeaked by Scecina in the first round with a 44-39 win.
