Roman Wilson 6’9, PF, Park Hill
WIlson is arguably one of the Kansas City area’s premier big men with a world of upside and potential. He has a versatile skill set at the offensive end, but is still looking to find his way at times. At the defensive end, he is a terrific shot blocker and rebounder.
Javaunte Hawkins, 5’10, PG, Lee’s Summit North
There aren’t many better young guards in the KC area than Hawkins. Able to score from all over the court, Hawkins can handle the ball, hit long range shots, score in the mid-range or take the ball to the basket. He spent the offseason playing for the KC Spurs but says he has plans to play for Team Rush this summer.
Lamel Robinson, 5’11, PG, Park Hill South
He is arguably the top young guard in the KC area and already hold NCAA Division I offers after a strong summer with KC Run GMC 15U. He is a scoring point guard with the ability to do a little bit of everything at a high level.
Desi Williams, 5’9, PG, Park Hill South
Despite his diminutive size, Williams has emerged as a true point guard able to lead a team, handle the ball and make plays at both ends of the floor. He has teamed with Lamel Robinson to form a dangerous 1-2 punch in the backcourt for Park Hill South after starring on the grassroots circuit for KC Run GMC.
Jevon Williams, 6’3, G, Raymore-Peculiar
He’s an athletic guard with the ability to do a lot of different things. Williams can handle the ball, score in the paint and is a versatile defender.
Nic Zeil, 6’5, PF, Park Hill
He hasn’t gotten a lot of PT just yet with a pair of talented big men in front of him in the Park Hill front court as Roman Wilson and football prospect Chester Graves has gotten a lot of run this season. But Ziel is a strong, physical presence in the paint with a good feel for scoring the ball and also has some perimeter skills as well. He’ll likely be a force next season and beyond.
