Elijah Knudsen Elijah Knudsen 5'10" Mead | 2022 CO – Mead
Elijah Knudsen Elijah Knudsen 5'10" Mead | 2022 CO is a player that is known in Colorado as a guy you can’t give any space on the perimeter as he has one of the quickest shooting strokes and shoots the ball lights out. The Colorado Mesa commit was one of the most exciting players to watch this season on the Prep Hoops Circuit. Elijah is a knockdown shooter on and off of the dribble, with shooting off the dribble he has an elite set of crossovers and stepbacks which allow him to create space to get his shot off. Many of his shots are possible due to his great footwork and balance. Elijah’s jump shot makes defenders press up on him, this opens up driving lanes for him where he can float near the rim to find the best finish. We cannot wait to see Elijah with the 4A returning state champs and one of the top D2 basketball schools in the nation in 2022.
Jackson Keil Jackson Keil 6'1" | CG Sterling | 2022 State CO – Sterling
Jackson Keil Jackson Keil 6'1" | CG Sterling | 2022 State CO is a combo guard who seems to be levels ahead of other high school guys in terms of basketball IQ. Jackson can run both guard spots very well and has college-ready size. From mid-range and three-point land, he has a knockdown jumper. Jackson has a knack for getting to the middle of the lane to get floaters or mid-range pull-ups. He is also a very patient player who uses ball and head fakes to get defenders out of position and set himself up for an easy shot. Jackson’s tight handles and great fundamentals are what allow him to be such a patient player during high-intensity situations.
Brock Mishak Brock Mishak 6'3" Fossil Ridge | 2022 CO – Fossil Ridge
Brock Mishak Brock Mishak 6'3" Fossil Ridge | 2022 CO is one of the most prolific scorers in the state and he can score it from anywhere on the floor. Brock is known as one of the best scorers in the state for good reason, he has great height standing at 6’3 which makes it hard on many smaller guards. He is a great shooter from outside, especially spot-up, but can use a pump fake to get defenders in the air to transition into a one-dribble pull-up. He may not be a guy who you see dunking often but he is not afraid to get in the paint, he often finishes fastbreaks hanging in the air and finishing through contact. Brock also uses the mid-range very often, whether that’s on a turnaround fadeaways or putting a floater over a big man’s fingertips. He is also a very smart cutter who often gets easy buckets by passing the ball to his teammates then making a quick cut.
Mason Black Mason Black 6'4" Falcon | 2022 CO – Falcon
The recent Western State commit, Mason Black Mason Black 6'4" Falcon | 2022 CO , has one of the best shooting strokes west of the Mississippi. Mason is a shooting guard who has a knack for setting his feet quickly and making tough jump shots. He is a player who coaches write up multiple plays for due to his great shooting ability. When running off of off-ball screens Mason has ready hands and is really great at stepping into his shot in rhythm. Mason also has great height for a college shooting guard standing at 6’4, combined with his quick and high release makes him a hard guy to contest. Do not be surprised if Mason is one of the top scorers in the state again this year.
