Now that another is off of the board, let’s take a look at the best uncommitted prospects still on the board. Earlier today we broke down the five best uncommitted guards and now we will turn our attention to the front court.
Sean Paige Sean Paige 6'8" | C Anderson | 2022 State IN (Anderson H.S. 2022)
After moving in from Illinois, this 6’8″ forward quickly became one of the best big men in the state of Indiana. He is skilled on the block with great footwork and hands inside. Paige rebounds at a high level on both ends of the floor. He brings some offensive versatility at his size that will translate well to the next level. Recently picked up his first offer from Division II Clark Atlanta. Paige should be one of the most sought after DII/NAIA big men in the state this season.
Marial Puou Marial Puou 6'7" | PF Brebeuf Jesuit | 2022 State IN (Brebeuf Jesuit 2022)
For programs that want to take a shot on a high-upside prospect, look no further than Illinois move-in Marial Puou Marial Puou 6'7" | PF Brebeuf Jesuit | 2022 State IN . The 6’7″ forward is extremely long and athletic with a good base of skill. He can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim off the bounce. As he continues to get stronger his interior game will improve, but right now he is a good slasher/driver with a ton of potential as an offensive rebounder. Projects as a versatile defender at the next level. Holds an offer from Huntington with more to come.
Caedmon Bontrager Caedmon Bontrager 6'8" | PF Leo | 2022 State IN (Leo H.S. 2022)
Bontrager has been raking in the Division II and NAIA offers over the last several months and that should continue into his senior season. After making the move to Leo High School from Elevation Prep, the 6’8″ forward will have a chance to compete for a state championship this year. He is extremely physical inside, one of the best rebounders in the state, and has the athleticism to be a tough matchup around the basket.
Javan Buchanan Javan Buchanan 6'6" | PF Lafayette Jefferson | 2022 State IN (Lafayette Jefferson H.S. 2022)
The 6’6″ stretch 4-man holds offers from the likes of UIndy and IU-East right now. Buchanan is a very good offensive player that should put up big numbers at Lafayette Jefferson this winter after returning from a year out in Kansas. He shoots the ball well from the perimeter and has the strength to score around the basket as well. Very good athlete.
Antoine Hurns Antoine Hurns 6'7" | PF George Washington | 2022 IN (George Washington H.S. 2022)
This is another under-the-radar senior without offers that certainly needs some college attention this season. Hurns has all of the physical tools you would want in prospect. There is some rawness to his game, but his length and athleticism make up for a lot of current deficiencies. Very good rebounder, finishes above the rim, and runs the floor in transition. This 6’7″ forward should have multiple offers right now.
