The 2022 rankings update has finally arrived and there were some changes made throughout. It is incredible to see how things have shaken up as this was a class that we saw from freshman year to now seniors. Here is a look at the newest Top 5.

[player_tooltip player_id="759280" first="Zach" last="Keller"]-ThunderRidge

[player_tooltip player_id="759280" first="Zach" last="Keller"] takes the new number one spot in our class of 2022 rankings, after a couple injuries early on in high school he has bounced back to become our best prospect. He first began to gain national attention during the COVID-19 pandemic summer, a unique route. He built on that summer by helping his ThunderRidge team go 13-2 and win the 5A state championship. With all of that and him continuing to impress this last summer with colleges making offer after offer, he will be heading to the ACC next season. He has committed to play for Wake Forest and is a nationally ranked player. As we get closer to the season, you have to think his ThunderRidge team is looking to repeat as State Champions.

[player_tooltip player_id="1284491" first="Langston" last="Reynolds"]- Colorado Prep

[player_tooltip player_id="1284491" first="Langston" last="Reynolds"] has been a well oiled machine for the past 4 years and has continued to improve on his game every year. He has been one of the most dominant down-hill attackers but has also added a consistent 3 point shot to his game. With the added jumper it makes him almost impossible to guard. He already has the body of a college athlete that he uses to get to the rim with ease and the leaping ability to finish over the top of bigs. In his final year, he looks to give Colorado a name for ourselves while playing for Colorado Prep on the Grind Session, a place that he looked comfortable before heading off to the University of Northern Colorado for college.

[player_tooltip player_id="1284470" first="Brock" last="Wisne"]- Colorado Prep

Brock Winse has became a player that has transformed from a low post only guy, to now being able to score effectively from all 3 levels of the floor. This has only made him a matchup nightmare on the perimeter and in the post. Playing on this Colorado Prep team has shown a different side of Brock as he looks to attack, attack, attack. He has quick feet and active hands which allows him to guard multiple positions during the course of a game but also the size and speed to dominate both in and out. The Northern Colorado commit looks to have another year of growth before taking off to college where I expect him to play well. He is our top forward in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id="918906" first="Aidan" last="Kuhl"]-Rocky Mountain

[player_tooltip player_id="918906" first="Aidan" last="Kuhl"] is a player that has become a household name over this summer while playing for Pro Skills and has lit up gyms with his scoring. He is a dynamic scoring guard with unlimited range and has developed his playmaking. That has made his more of an offensive threat but he has the edge to go along with it. He has already had the stats and will to take over for his high school but his play with Pro Skills set him apart. He set the Prep Hoops circuit ablaze with monster numbers this summer and Aidan turned head enough heads to get an offer from Northern Alabama. He will be finishing his playing career as a Division I guard that has the entire package. Coaches in his conference already know how difficult of a player he has been but the rest of the state has now taken notice as he has made one of the larger jumps and is in the Top-5 in his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1046034" first="Cameron" last="Lowe"]- Lewis Palmer

[player_tooltip player_id="1046034" first="Cameron" last="Lowe"] was another player that had an amazing summer and it was capped off as he solidified himself as a D1 basketball player. Hence his recent commitment to play at Air Force next year. Lowe is a versatile wing that is capable of guarding 1-5 when asked to at the high school level. His size and speed makes it tough for smaller guards to get shots off against him but he can shoot over defenders with ease. Offensively, Lowe has really taken off. He has a decent enough handle to push the ball on the break or even start the offense in the half courts sets but he is best with the ball in his hands. He likes to get it on the perimeter and attack the defense. Going into his senior year healthy, Cameron is gearing up to lead his Lewis-Palmer team into a deep state tournament run. They have a team that is capable of competing and with him playing his best ball, I expect huge scoring numbers.
