A few standout Point Guards from the Gauchos Roundball Classic

<p>This fall the New York Gauchos hosted their Roundball Classic league which creates a platform for New York high school prospects. There have been numerous point guards who have established themselves heading into the winter season. I've highlighted a few prospects to watch this high school season.<br /> <br /> <strong>'25 Tai Turnage</strong>, St. Raymond High School (Main Picture) - We're just scratching the surface of Tai's potential. His dad, Billy Turnage, is the Head Coach at Wings Academy and I strongly believe that experience has played a role in his maturation. He is able to penetrate downhill and that's where his creativity really shows. The southpaw takes care of the ball and understands when to push the pace. The way he plays the team will follow, he sets the tempo. He continues to shoot the ball at a high clip and puts the pressure on defenses in transition.
