We know the competition in South Florida is fierce. With so much parody, anyone can get beat on any given night.

Therefore, which prospects would you want with the game on the line? The following players have ice water in their veins.

Here are some picks...

[player_tooltip player_id="963313" first="Hykeem" last="Williams"] – Stranahan

Switching it up here and going with [player_tooltip player_id="963313" first="Hykeem" last="Williams"]. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound forward is super strong and can score around the low block. Williams can control his position in the paint and finish. I don’t think a defender can muscle with him. In addition, Williams has the athleticism to accelerate up for an easy lay-in. I trust him inside ten feet with the ball in his hands. Williams is a huge prospect on the football field with multiple D-1 offers.

[player_tooltip player_id="546221" first="Aidan" last="Abell"] – Westminster Academy

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="546221" first="Aidan" last="Abell"] hit some big shots for Florida Pro over the Summer. The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 16 points per game and should be rolling with confidence. I think Abell is stronger and healthier than he was last season. The 3-star prospect is a threat to hit a half dozen 3-pointers in any game. Abell holds an offer from Stetson.

Michael Cooper – Forest Hill

2022 Michael Cooper should be one of the leaders for the Falcons as a senior. The 6-foot guard averaged 11.8 points and shot 48 percent from 3-point range as a junior. Cooper hit some big shots for this team and that should continue in his final season. He’s an underrated player up in Palm Beach County.

[player_tooltip player_id="709231" first="Anthony" last="Floyd"] – Hallandale

I have seen Floyd since he was a freshman at Mater Lakes Academy. The 5-foot-9 guard is elusive with the ball in his hands and can finesse his way into tight spaces. Floyd plays stronger than he looks and can finish with either hand. I think he can come up with a bucket late in a game. Moreover, he has the mentality to do it.

[player_tooltip player_id="956773" first="Warner" last="Davis"] - Miami Palmetto

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="956773" first="Warner" last="Davis"] can knock down shots in a hurry. The 6-foot-1 guard averaged over 23 points per game and shot 40 percent from 3-point range as a junior. His range is unlimited and he’s efficient from any spot behind the line. I’ve seen Warner pull-up and knock down shots in transition. Be aware of this kid late in a game.

Others to watch:

[player_tooltip player_id="829416" first="Alex" last="Houck"] - Jupiter

[player_tooltip player_id="1062420" first="Noah" last="Kattan"] - Cypress Bay

[player_tooltip player_id="814930" first="Jose" last="Amat"] III - Florida Christian

[player_tooltip player_id="709247" first="PJ" last="Paulk"] - Booker T. Washington

[player_tooltip player_id="709256" first="Jamai" last="Hager-Tejada"] - Miami Northwestern
