Cameron Bartmann (South Suburban)
Wide bodied five man with legit height at about 6’10” that played his prep ball at St. Rita. Has improved his skill set and production level since his high school days. Right-handed hook shot, drop step, and seals. Liked what we saw and is worthy of consideration at the D2 level.
Jimmy Bell (Moberly)
Bell was another big bodied five man that is a space eater inside. Draws contact on the interior along with showing solid post moves and spins for buckets in the paint. Rebounded well in his area.
KJ Debrick KJ Debrick 6'7" | C Springfield Lanphier | 2021 State IL (John A Logan)
Debrick has continued to progress every single time we see him. The growth he has made since his junior year is really incredible. The big bodied post has slimmed down even more since July and is in the best shape of his career. Post game was on point as he made quick and aggressive moves over and over off deep post position. Highly efficient big man that has spins, seals, hooks, and is a dominant area rebounder. Really believe he has high-major potential after a couple years at Logan.
Sarion McGee (John A Logan)
McGee was the other impressive post for Logan. In my first look at him we liked what we saw. Played extremely physical using his strength to his advantage. Quick baseline spin and powerful finishes down low. Also flashed some skill at 6’8” being able to hit a three and mid-range shot. Mid-majors should take a look.
Omar Nur (Highland)
Nur was the tallest player we saw on the day. The 7’2” five man from Highland has a lot of intriguing tools. Moves very well for his size. Seals on the block and always keeps the ball high and away from guards tying to get steals. Mobility for size and displayed decent touch on his free throws. Mid-major type player.
Oumar Keita (Highland)
Keita was another solid big man for Highland. Very good area rebounder with legit size and strength. Hit a baseline jumper and moved well for his size.
Thow Biel (Vincennes)
This 6’7” face up four fits the way the game is going with his mobility, playing inside/out, and can stretch the floor. Finished dump off passes with bounce around the hoop. Was at his best offensively stretching the floor with threes and mid-range shots which he let fly with a ton of confidence. Switchable defender that can protect at the rim. Low-majors/mid-majors should monitor!
Frank Mitchell (Vincennes)
Mitchell is a strong bodied power forward that plays primarily in the paint. Physical on the offensive glass and finished well on dump offs. Also was an effective post defender.
Jaden Webb (Tennessee Prep National)
Webb had the highest ceiling of any prospect on the Tennessee Prep squad. At 6’11” the five man has a lengthy frame and good mobility. Force on the defensive end swatting shots and switching all over the floor. Offensively he was pretty raw, but has a lot of tools to work with.
Mason Hanback Mason Hanback 7'0" | C George Washington University Highschool | 2022 State TN (Tennessee Prep National)
Hanback is a skilled 7’0” center that put it on the deck from the mid-post, swatted a three pointer, and displayed a nice all-around game before going down with an injury in the game we saw.
Jylen Petty (Kaskaskia)
This 6’6” face up four showed flashes in the game we saw. Was comfortable in the pick/pop game. Good passer that made a sweet high/low dish. Thin frame and struggled finishing on the block against stronger defenders. Mobile on the defensive end and swatted a couple of shots.
Darius Duffy (Kaskaskia)
Five man that has good length and strength. Seals extremely well on the interior knows how to use his body to maneuver on the interior. Soft touch in the paint.
