The MCAA Preview

<p>The MCAA had another group of changes resulting in a nine team league that we preview now! </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Conference Commentary</strong></p> <p><strong>Top Contenders: </strong>Legacy Christian, Spectrum, West Lutheran</p> <p>Legacy Christian was 20-2 a season ago and played at state.  A headlining season speared by a big group of seniors who worked many years to earn that section title.  It will be a new look team but a team with good players led by [player_tooltip player_id="1284187" first="Micah" last="Strand"].  The transfer of [player_tooltip player_id="1288688" first="Aiden" last="Johnson"] to Legacy will keep them at the top of the league plus push for a return to state.  Spectrum was one of the best four teams in the league last season but with Lester Prairie no longer in the league Spectrum by far has the most talent returning which is why we think they will be the favorite entering the season. With so many teams losing so much and West Lutheran returning most of their line-up they could shoot into the top three of the league. </p> <p><strong>Compete with Most: </strong>Eagle Ridge, Heritage Christian, North Lakes Academy, PACT</p> <p>Eagle Ridge lost only one player to graduation so they should improve on last year's three wins. North Lakes is in about the same spot as Eagle Ridge:  most players back, three wins total last year, one league win.  Same!  And they should be improved as well. Heritage Christian won a dozen games with four players shouldering most of the load.  </p> <p><strong>Rebuilding:  </strong>PACT</p> <p>PACT has a bit of a rebuild in front of them with six of their top seven gone.  They should still be able to compete for the middle of the league but it's going to be a new look.
