Prep Hoops Circuit: Top Illinois Shooters Pt 2

There were tons of high level shot makers on the Prep Hoops Circuit from the state of Illinois!  Here we examine some of the best we saw in<strong> Prep Hoops Circuit: Top Illinois Shooters Pt 2!</strong> <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1210404" first="Aiden" last="Rock"] (Quad City HS Prep)</strong> Rock was a standout with his ability to drain spot up shots for Quad City High School Prep. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1210377" first="Karlo" last="Colak"] (Hoops4Health)</strong> Colak elevated his stock with a strong showing at the various PHC events that [program_tooltip program_id='2075515' first='Hoops' last='4 Health'] played in behind his strong shooting. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="925222" first="Jeremiah" last="Jones"] (Illinois Hoopstars)</strong> Huge fan of Jones as he is a three and D wing that consistently knocked in shots during the spring for the Hoopstars. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1170017" first="Arius" last="Alijosius"] ([program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''])</strong> Silky smooth two guard that can flat out fill it up from beyond the arc. <strong> </strong> <strong>Graham Smith ([program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''])</strong> Smith was another sharp shooter from [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] that did an excellent job of draining perimeter shots. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="996081" first="Trey" last="Keizer"] (HIT)</strong> Tons of quality shooters for HIT and Keizer was among those bombing in threes. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1106946" first="Will" last="Grudzinski"] (Young &amp; Reckless)</strong> One of the better corner three spot up shooters we saw on the circuit. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1194341' first='David' last='Douglas'] (Sport-Prep Nothing But Athletes Inc)</strong> Breakout prospect from Yorkville Christian with a silky smooth jump shot from his combo guard spot. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1157225" first="Payton" last="Kamin"] (Team Ten Jabari Parker)</strong> Kamin was one of the best shooters we saw all spring and summer and he is only in 2024! <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="996079" first="Drew" last="Meyers"] (Illinois Stars)</strong> Meyers had several events where he absolutely lit it up! <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1210388" first="Chikere" last="Nwosu"] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075536' first='Illinois' last='Future'])</strong> Nwosu had a major showing from beyond the three point arc at Cream City Collision at the end of the spring. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="925208" first="Rashawn" last="Bost"] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075536' first='Illinois' last='Future'])</strong> Evanston point guard can really let it fly from deep and that was apparent with [program_tooltip program_id='2075536' first='Illinois' last='Future']! <strong> </strong> <strong>Sean Kavanaugh (M14)</strong> Kavanaugh is a big time spot up shooting threat that came on strong at the end of the summer. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1049062" first="Eli" last="Hofmann"] ([program_tooltip program_id='2081813' first='[program_tooltip program_id='2081813' first='Archangels' last='']' last=''])</strong> Hofmann was dominant in July as the point guard scored a ton of points with a lot coming from deep. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1049053" first="Ryan" last="Duncan"] (All In Athletics)</strong> Duncan is a two guard from Chicago U-High who played some on and off the ball shooting well doing both. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="939077" first="Javonte" last="Taylor"] (Mac Irvin Fire)</strong> Taylor is one of the premier prospects in the country and has a feathery jumper that some call eerily similar to the “Slim Reaper.” <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="939050" first="Darrin" last="Ames"] (Mac Irvin Fire)</strong> Ames is an angular scoring guard that gets bucket in a variety of ways including bombing in threes. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1215287" first="Jake" last="Fiegen"] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'])</strong> Best shooter on Prep Hoops Circuit.  PERIOD! 13 threes and 51 points in one game! <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1285497' first='Luke' last='Kinkade'] (Basketball Paradise)</strong> Combo guard showed he could beat a defense in a number of ways including over the top. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1285490' first='Nick' last='Schroeder'] (Basketball Paradise)</strong> Schroeder really opened our eyes with his play during the spring and summer because of the way he shot it from deep. <strong> </strong> <strong>Trevon Thomas (Illinois Hoopstars)</strong> Sleeper guard from DePaul Prep opened up our eyes with his three point shooting. <strong> </strong> <strong>Mason Delaney ([program_tooltip program_id='2078376' first='Illinois' last='Attack'])</strong> Delaney can really let it fly from distance as he nailed a ton of them in several games we saw. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="863595" first="Matthew" last="Volkening"] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078423' first='Kessel' last='Heat'])</strong> Volkening made the move over to [program_tooltip program_id='2078423' first='Kessel' last='Heat'] during July and it paid off.  He showcased his ability to get his shot off from both mid-range and three. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1106932" first="Daniel" last="Hong"] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075481' first='Fundamental' last='U'] Grey)</strong> Hong was so fun to watch creating his shot off the bounce and getting in the mid-range for pull ups. <strong> </strong> <strong>Lathan Lewis (Illinois Elite)</strong> Lewis was phenomenal with his scoring and shooting at the Prep Hoops 2k21 event in July. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1215311" first="Nikola" last="Abusara"] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'])</strong> Absusara is a wing from Benet that is primed to break out with his skilled game and perimeter shot. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="996059" first="Jeremiah" last="Talton"] (MPJ Elite/Quad City High School Prep)</strong> Feathery spot up three point stroke from this Quincy wing who did it for a couple different PHC teams. <strong> </strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1210442" first="John" last="Riva"] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078376' first='Illinois' last='Attack'])</strong> Riva has such a picture perfect stroke that was repeatable and made over and over again.
