<p>Took in another weekend of games at the Baldwin summer league. </p>
<p><strong>Osagie Ekhator. 6”4. 2024. Elmont HS</strong></p>
<p>Big-time leader. Explosive player. Uses his frame to create space for himself. Excellent rebounder. Strong athletic body. Stepped out in this event and was able to knock down three 3’s. Working on improving his ball-handling.</p>
<p><strong>Jayden Watkins. 5”11 2023. Elmont HS</strong></p>
<p>A playmaker. Can create for himself or his teammates. Excellent defender and communicator. Sees the floor really well and makes the right pass. Working on improving his perimeter jumper.</p>
<p><strong>Girrell Frias-Walsh. 6”0. 2022. Elmont. HS</strong></p>
<p>Funky release but it goes in. Good in transition. Finished through contact. Good rebounder. Quick to the hoop. Did a good job of closing out on shooters.</p>
<p><strong>Gemere Frias-Walsh. 5”8. 2024. Elmont HS</strong></p>
<p>Small young but talented guard. Attacks the defense. Quick with the ball. Capable of getting to the basket. Displayed a nice floater. Needs to be a little bit more crafty with the ball at the rim.</p>
<p><strong>Xavier Campbell. </strong> <strong> 5”9. 2022. Sewanaka HS</strong></p>
<p>Able to split defenders. Very active hands and feet. Battles for loose balls. Made some nice decisions with the ball vs the zone.</p>
<p><strong>Caireek Belnavis. 6”0. 2022. Sewanaka HS</strong></p>
<p>Good range on his jumper. Drilled a couple of threes. Also has a nice pull-up jumper in his game. Strong body to the rim. Made some nice passes. Chase down defender who created turnovers with his desire to get back.</p>
<p><strong>Chike Ndefo. 6”5. 2023. Elmont HS</strong></p>
<p>A major talent in Nassau county. A defensive presence in the middle. Alters shots. Shot blocker and strong rebounder. Can score around the rim. But is also capable out to 15 feet. Working on expanding his range.</p>
