Those close to the program and the scouts, coaches, and fans that have seen them play knew that it was just a matter of time. E.A.T. Athletics made a big time statement over the weekend at the Prep Hoops 2k21. They excelled against elite competition on one of the biggest stages in the country. Not only were they successful, but they did so with a large chunk of their athletes playing up. It’s a program that’s here to stay and will be fielding college players for the foreseeable future.

4 STARS

[player_tooltip player_id="1076038" first="Trey" last="Kolakovich"]

This young man showed a lot at the Prep Hoops 2k21. He flaunted elite level quickness which helped him break down the defense and get in the lane with the ball. Once he was in the lane, he finished if the defense didn’t rotate and dished it off if they did. Kolakovich did a nice job controlling the pace and feel of the game.

[player_tooltip player_id="1076032" first="Andrew" last="Sniesak"]

Every coach wants at least 1 [player_tooltip player_id="1076032" first="Andrew" last="Sniesak"] on their team. He’s a hustle player that brings energy and grit to his team. It’s like he takes pride in outworking his opponent. Sniesak picks up good looks at the rim by hustling off the ball. He can be relentless on the glass.

Byron Brooks

Brooks has an excellent combination of size, strength, and speed coming off the wing. He’s a plus athlete that can fight through contact when attacking the rim. Brooks has really put his name on the map this summer and is a prospect to watch come high school season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1211320" first="Karim" last="McCune II"]

This young man is battling through the process. Some college coach needs to take a swing on this young man. His athleticism and explosiveness has to be too much to pass on. A program at the next level could strike gold here.
