Izaak Porter 6’4″ MPJ Elite 16U: The shooting guard from Father Tolton was excellent in the one game I watched him over the weekend. He knocked down five 3-pointers in the game and the shooting stroke looked very smooth and easy. He also used his height and big body to back down defenders, old-school style to facilitate offense and make good decisions with the ball.
Marqueas Bell Marqueas Bell 6'2" | SG Park Hill | 2023 State MO 6’2″ KC Run GMC 16U: A slender lefty shooting guard from Park Hill who displayed three-level scoring ability last weekend in Texas. He is smooth off the dribble with his ability to slice into the lane for buckets and he compliments it with 3-point shooting range. He is ready to step into a prime-time scoring role as a junior this upcoming season.
Camden Bennett Camden Bennett 6'3" | SG St. Joe Lafayette | 2023 State MO (pictured) 6’3″ 816 Hoops-Shamet 16U: The physical wing from St. Joe Lafayette continued his practice of strong-arming opposing guards with his power drives to the basket in Kansas City. He posted up and got buckets inside and attacked the basket and scored through contact. When he hits the perimeter jumper, it’s really difficult to defend him.
AK Rael AK Rael 6'5" | SG Strafford | 2023 State MO 6’4″ Yanders Law 16U: A talented, rangy guard from Strafford who displayed a versatile skill set in Dallas over the weekend. He works the baseline well and scored on some nice takes to the basket. He can also score in the post against smaller guards or take it outside to knock down 3-pointers with his excellent shooting range.
Kevin Parker Jr Kevin Parker Jr 6'2" | SG Parkview | 2023 State MO . 6’2 Missouri Flight- White 17U: An impressive 2023 shooting guard who has excellent 3-point range and the ability to create off the dribble. He’s solidly built so he handles the ball well against pressure. Even when he’s playing up a level with the 17Us, he’s capable of putting up a lot of points in a short period of time.
Anthony Gause 6’2″ SW IL Jets 16U: A talented 2024 guard who has been putting in work playing up at the 16U level. Has good quickness and electric handles which enable him to get to his spots and create. He combines that with his ability to make 3-pointers. Exciting young player.
Nate Brandt Nate Brandt 6'3" | SG Fatima | 2023 State MO 6’3″ Mid Mo Elite 17U: An energetic guard from Fulton who plays with a dynamic motor to go along with his offensive game. He has a strong body and he uses it well when he stays in attack mode throughout the game. He scored 20 points in the game that I watched. He can also shoot the ball from 3-point distance.
Major Dudek 6’0’ Mentality by Michael Walker 16U (Blue): A young shooting guard from Truman who has established himself as a prime shooting threat from 3-point range. He hit four triples in the one game that I watched him play. He has a quick release and deep range. He can also hit the one-dribble pull up from mid range in which he gets good elevation.
