Joel’s Take: Brady is the son of former Mater Dei standout—from 1990—Andy Karich. While Andy was a forward, Brady is the Monarch's future point guard. He advances the ball very well, has his head up at all times, and makes sound decisions. Despite being a freshman, he managed the game well, took care of the ball, and found open teammates for easy scores.

Joel’s Take: Wade put together an outstanding performance in the 2nd half to spark an incredible comeback—which eventually came down to the last possession. He was the catalyst on the defensive end with his active hands and instincts. He managed the game well, hit some timely 3s, and set up his teammates for easy buckets—including a nifty post entry to [player_tooltip player_id="680249" first="Dillon" last="Wilhite"].

Joel’s Take: One of the better up-and-coming shooters in Southern California is Minter. The rangy wing-type scored 14-points—including three deep 3-pointers. He sets up his shot well, squares up nicely, and he has a quick release. His mid-range game is still developing, but he did show a nice up-fake to get around his defender for a floater attempt.
