Prep Hoops Circuit – The All Session 7 Team

The Prep Hoops Circuit spotlight was on Battle at the Lakes with a load of talent but the Passion SZN Kickoff gave us top names as well.  Here is our Prep Hoops Circuit All Session 7 Team. 

Amar Augillard Amar Augillard 6'5" | SF Zion Benton | 2021 State IL of Young N Reckless Brim (IL).   Amar is a 6-foot-6 unsigned senior that is playing with purpose.  A purpose of making college coaches take notice.  Every possession Amar is on the attack.  The wing from Zion Benton physically out-manned most he faced and his approach led to an undefeated weekend for his team.  A D1 talent.            

Jamar Franklin Jamar Franklin 6'1" | CG Speights Academy | 2022 State #246 Nation FL of Team Speights (FL). Franklin is a 6-foot-1 guard that has recently earned offers from Stetson, New Orleans, Radford, North Alabama, and Albany plus the calls are coming in from schools all around the country.  Jamar is agile, he is a talented playmaker, but for me, when I watch this young man play, I love the purity of his stroke.  There’s a lot to this young guard and I think he’s on the verge of some even bigger honors/opportunities.  

Jackson Loge Jackson Loge 6'7" | C Morris Area | 2022 State MN of Minnesota Fury (MN).  Jackson Loge Jackson Loge 6'7" | C Morris Area | 2022 State MN might use his pivot better than any player I have seen all year.  Maybe all of last year and the year before that. What makes it even better is Loge is as comfortable with his right as he is his left.  The touch is high percentage, the passing out of the post ranks with the best, and he can turn on just about anybody using either shoulder.  Toledo offered Loge right after the Battle at the Lakes. 

Justin Mullins Justin Mullins 6'4" | SF Oak Park-River Forest | 2022 State IL of Young N Reckless Power Five (IL). Mullins made Wayzata High School - site of the Battle at the Lakes - his own personal proving grounds.  A d1 offered talent (Radford and Kent State) Justin had one of the best scoring games in the history of the Prep Hoops Circuit when he netted 41 points (with 10 boards) against the Tulsa Hawks.  Throw in the 20 point/6 board/4 assist game and the dozen we saw him score against the Fury and you see how Mullins led his team to an undefeated weekend.  

BJ Omot BJ Omot 6'8" | PF Mankato East | 2022 State #231 Nation MN of D1 Minnesota (MN).  This winter BJ Omot BJ Omot 6'8" | PF Mankato East | 2022 State #231 Nation MN averaged 21 points, 8.5 rebounds, and three assists a game shooting 54 percent from the floor and 40.5 percent from the arc (40% Club!).   Outstanding numbers but unfortunately Omot missed games including his playoff games through no fault of his own.  The 6-foot-7 wing from Mankato seems to have used that as motivation as he’s now playing even better for D1 Minnesota (his team went 3-1 this weekend).  Providence recently offered. 

Yvens Paul of For The Love (FL).    A triple-double on the Prep Hoops Circuit?  A triple-double on the Prep Hoops Circuit! Six-foot-7 center Yvens Paul used his explosive athletic ability to record a 20 point, 10 rebound, 10 block game leading his team to another win.  Yvens is one of the most explosive players on the Circuit as he can turn a lob into a nasty throw down in a second, and he can turn an attempted jumper into a nasty ricochet.
