2023 5-10 PG [player_tooltip player_id="1164275" first="Malik" last="Raines"] – Central Florida Heat

[player_tooltip player_id="1164275" first="Malik" last="Raines"] poured in points all week for the Central Florida Heat. Raines is a strong compact guard. He uses his frame well when putting his head down and getting to the basket. Though he lacks in size, Raines is crafty around the rim, able to score without getting his shot blocked. What impressed me most was his leadership skills. Raines was vocal as he directed the offense and supported his teammates.

2024 5-8 PG Kaleb Oriol – Dream Nation

One of the smallest players in the division, both in height and overall stature, Kaleb Oriol was one of my favorite guards. He was a fearless competitor that knew what his strengths and weaknesses were. Oriol was lights out from deep, one of the best shooters in the event as he paced a three-point reliant Dream Nation team. The southpaw showed some wiggle when needed and was able to handle pressure. Oriol should put together a solid high school career.

2023 6-1 PG [player_tooltip player_id="1131536" first="Daveon" last="Henderson"] – Georgia Express

[player_tooltip player_id="1131536" first="Daveon" last="Henderson"] has a chance to be one of the better guards in Middle Georgia. He’s athletic, tough and has already seen major minutes over his first two seasons. Henderson’s decision making looked improved from when I saw him back in his first high school game of the season. He cut down on turnovers this past week and excelled at stopping on a dime and hitting the mid-range pull-up.

2023 6-1 SG Ben Cahill – Jupiter Jaguars

Part of a savvy backcourt that shared the ball exceptionally well, Ben Cahill brought a little swagger to the Jupiter Jaguars. Maybe it was just his flowing hair and headband, but Cahill played with confidence as he hurt opponents in different ways. He had some nifty takes to the basket and was able to knock down outside shots.

2023 7-1 C [player_tooltip player_id="1201528" first="Carter" last="Clark"] – Georgia Express

You can’t teach height. [player_tooltip player_id="1201528" first="Carter" last="Clark"] has plenty of it and he has some mobility as well. Clark runs the floor and can finish rim runs with dunks. He will need to add strength to be able to rebound in traffic, but his length is so elite, he’s able to clear the boards without challenge most times. Clark has room for development with a nice upside. Stay tuned.
