2024 Watch List Posts

<p>With our release on Monday of the first 2024 PHI Watch List we wanted to examine some of the prospects at each position.  Here are the posts to keep on your radar.  Remember this is not a ranking and are done in alphabetical order!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1157228" first="James" last="Brown"] (St. Rita)</strong></p> <p>Brown already has multiple high-major offers and its easy to see why.  The 6’8” five man scores with ease around the hoop, elite level rebounder, and major rim protector.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1157229" first="Taevion" last="Collier"] (Curie)</strong></p> <p>The younger brother of Cliff Alexander this four man protects the paint, rebounds in his area, and plays with physicality.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1157354" first="Jonathan" last="Harrison"] (Herrin)</strong></p> <p>Long and rangy four that is bouncy and projectable with excellent shot blocking feel.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1157230" first="Morez" last="Johnson"] (St. Rita)</strong></p> <p>Johnson might have the highest ceiling of anyone in this class.  Bouncy four man that rim runs, rebounds, defends all over the floor, and can pass it.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1157231" first="Cooper" last="Koch"] (Peoria Notre Dame)</strong></p> <p>Koch stands at 6’7” with a long and athletic build.  He impressed us with his mobility, length, and skill as a freshman.  Face up four rebounds in and out of area.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1157232" first="Lathan" last="Sommerville"] (Peoria Notre Dame)</strong></p> <p>Very good area rebounder that snatches them in traffic with strong hands.  On the block he displays sound footwork on spin moves, seals, and overall has a nice touch. Brick wall defensively.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1157346" first="Jaden" last="Smith"] (Lincoln Park)</strong></p> <p>Long and lanky four man that can swat shots with projectability.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1157353" first="Allen" last="Tate"] (Downers Grove North)</strong></p> <p>High motor undersized forward that crashes the glass.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1157233" first="Jaheem" last="Webber"] (Normal Community)</strong></p> <p>Legit 6’8” five man with a good frame and is light on his feet. Finishes around hoop and is a shot blocking presence.</p>
