Owen Stubblebine, Newton north Position G,
Owen is a guard with a super crafty set of handles. Owen dribbles the ball superlow and can bate any defender with his dribble moves. Owen is one of the smaller players in his class, and has yet to hit his growth spurt. For 8th graders owen has some of the best handles I have seen. Owen does do well at finishing over bigger defenders, and has shown great finishing moves at the rim. Owen is very quick and can get up the court with just using a few dribbles. Owen is a true point guard who also makes the smart pass. Owen does a lot of flashy things on the court, but more importantly has a good skill set. Owen will only improve as he gets bigger and stronger.
Teagan Swint Teagan Swint 6'4" | SF Newton North | 2025 State New E , Newton North, Position F
Teagan is a forward who make players around him better. Teagan is combo skill set player, who can bring up the ball, but also post up. Teagan has expanded his game, by improving his 3 point shooting. Teagan is strong and aggressive, and can finish well in the paint. Tegan is good at drawing fouls. Teagan has a nice touch around the rim, and a soft floater. Tegan is also a good passer from the paint, and in the middle against a zone. Tegan can be a scorer, and can also be a facilitator. On defense Teagan can guard 1-5. Tegan has a great attitude on the court, and is hardworking. Tegan will be a player to watch over the next coming year’s for the tigers.
Josh Rivers Josh Rivers CG Newton South | 2025 New E , Newton south, position G
Josh is the most Even Keel player I have seen. Josh looks the same if it’s late in a close game, or his team is up 30 or down 30. Josh is a guard who doesn’t turn the ball over and can score off the dribble, and by shooting. Josh is a very good player to coach, with the fact that nothing ever bothers him. Josh isn’t the quickest player on the court, but does a good job of changing speeds, and is a good finisher and scorer with both hands. Josh is a very solid player who you can trust with the ball.
Andrew Shore Andrew Shore 5'10" | SG Newton South | 2025 New E , Newton south, Position G
Andrew is a high energy player and someone who never looks tried on the court. Andrew is a 3 point specialist, and a good ball handler. When Andrew isn’t shooting well he never seems to be effected, and will keep shooting. Andrew understands the game well. I think Andrew will be an impact player for the freshman team next year, and should improve this AAU season.
Mica Gershana, BBN, Position G
Mica is another guard who is a 3 point specialist. Mica shoots the ball well and has good handles. Mica is a good point guard who can run the floor and control the game. Mica cuts well, and moves well without the ball. Mica is a good on ball defender, and does a good job staying in front of his man. Mica is someone who I think will be an impact player on freshman next year.
