Yeager is probably still underrated. But part of me thinks he thrives in that role. Yeager will simply outwork the other 99.9%. Remember when he was known as a good shooter? Well now he’s one of the best shooters in the midwest (at least) and an elite lead guard that can run an offense and distribute the ball.

There’s nothing worse than that icy rain that makes it super slippery. Well Yeager can certainly make it rain from beyond the arc, and when he does it’s a very slippery situation for the opposing team. The D1 lead guard talent is one of the best pure shooters in the midwest and a rising well rounded talent.

If you said that Yeager was one of the best pure shooters you’ve ever seen in the state, I wouldn’t argue with you about it. He’s that good of a shooter. But let’s not forget that he’s a true lead guard that can handle and distribute. All of this, and he’s still available. There have to be a lot of schools that could use a sharpshooting point guard with an excellent all around game.

I want to start by saying that Yeager is NOT only a shooter. He’s in fact one of the best all around lead guards in the state. That being said, he has to be on this list. Yeager is one of the best pure shooters I’ve ever seen in the state. Maybe THE best. He can absolutely catch fire from deep.

#657 – The next brother to complete the Yeager duo was MJ who is now stamped as a deadly scoring threat. No matter the long trip, there was no jet lag in his jump shot on Saturday. He’s a sniper from behind the arc who showed confidence to get it done in iso sets or working off the ball. MJ is a solid finisher around the rim as well and was really active against opposing guards on defense, finishing as one of my top standouts regardless of position.

MJ Yeager, The 5-10 point guard and twin brother of sharpshooter Donny Yeager. MJ played with a ton of confidence shooting across all three levels and showed a ton of energy on the defensive end as well. MJ has shown a ton of growth in shooting the 3-ball as he has the intangibles to become a top-tier prospect at the next level. His shooting from the mid-range have continued to improve as well as he is a dynamic three-level scorer and was named the Player of the Game following Team 2’s second win on the day.

The 5’10 combo guard is making a business trip all the way down from Saginaw, Michigan to prove he’s the real deal amongst some of the rising talent in Florida. When you can shoot consistently from behind the arc like Yeager, it creates a lot of opportunity for you to land a roster spot at the next level. For instance, he’s picked up recent offers from Northwood University, Mid Michigan College, and Kuyper College. Yeager is set for an important senior season where he can provide solid shooting and floor general tendencies for Nouvel Catholic. 2022 stats: 22.4 ppg, 118 threes, 41.7 3P%, 90.0 FT%Twitter: @mjyeager11Film: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15641942/641e57905eede01230892b91

If you give me 5 MJ Yeager‘s you’re basically handing me a championship. You just don’t shoot the ball naturally like he does. That takes work. Even better is the way he’s improved all other aspects of his game. From passing to ball handling, he’s spent countless days in the gym becoming a well rounded true lead guard. Yeager has gone from the kid that can shoot to an elite point guard through his hard work.

When you attempt to break a world record for 3 point shooting, you’ve got to be pretty good. Well, Yeager is way better than pretty good. His jumper looks so pure that you kind of expect it to go in every time it leaves his hands.

The number next to his name doesn’t do him justice. I think he can be a D1 lead guard. Screenshot it if you’d like, I stand by that statement. When you can fill it up from deep in today’s game the way that Yeager can, there’s a place for you in basically any offense. The rest of his game continues to improve at a rapid rate as well giving him extraordinarily high upside.
