Expert Analysis
Ross Van De Griek | Prep Hoops Scout
The 6-7 senior power forward and Alabama commit is a springy and bouncy wing who continues to have a ton of upside. Reid is primarily a back-to-the-basket player but this season he has expanded his offensive game into becoming more of a three-level scoring threat. Defensively, Reid plays with a ton of confidence whether it’s guarding multiple positions or bringing a presence into the passing lanes. Reid can turn defense into offense in a hurry as he brings a ton of quickness for his size, as well as getting downhill finishing above the rim. Adjusting his pace will be the next step in Reid’s game as he has high intangibles to play beyond the next level.

Up from No. 10: Toolsy swingman has pole vaulted up national rankings. Great length and athleticism. Has upside to be an elite defender at the next level. Terrific passer makes plays look easy. Scores inside and out.

has had a huge spring with Team Thad, averaging 18 PPG in the EYBL and leading Team Thad to the top of the standings. Versatility is in abundance with Reid as he can do a little bit of everything and play multiple positions at 6’7. His playmaking ability stands out especially. He’s taken recent visits to Georgia and Kansas State.

There probably wasn’t a prospect that impressed me more on Saturday than this super versatile 6’7″ forward out of Georgia. Reid is a 4-star prospect with a slew of offers from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State, and West Virginia among many others. On Saturday, he certainly earned the best player on the best team title as he led Team Thad to continued success. They are now 12-2 after defeating ProSkills and Vegas Elite. Reid scored 22 points to go with 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the morning and came back later with 23 points and 8 rebounds. He possesses such a well-rounded skill set.

is a skilled forward prospect with great playmaking ability and physical tools. He’s got excellent out vision and can facilitate offense effectively. Picked up several high-major offers last spring and summer. He’ll be playing with Team Thad this year on the EYBL circuit.
