Continue ReadingAce Bailey Ace Bailey 6’9″ | SF McEachern | 2024 State #2 Nation GA is the undisputed #1 player in Georgia and that’s nothing new. Bailey’s profile is unique, a top-tier athlete at 6’9 with legitimate guard skills, also an excellent rim protector. He’s a tough shot maker, able to hit pull-ups and step-backs over contesting defenders. When it’s all said and done, the Rutgers commit could be the #1 player in the nation.
Derrion Reid Derrion Reid 6’7″ | SF Prolific Prep (CA) | 2024 #26 Nation CA-N has had a huge spring with Team Thad, averaging 18 PPG in the EYBL and leading Team Thad to the top of the standings. Versatility is in abundance with Reid as he can do a little bit of everything and play multiple positions at 6’7. His playmaking ability stands out especially. He’s taken recent visits to Georgia and Kansas State.
Micah Smith Micah Smith 6’7″ | SF Sandy Creek | 2024 State #144 Nation GA is another unique prospect, a SF-PF tweener but effective in either role. Smith is a high-motor guy that loves to defend and get up and down the floor. Smith can score from either post but I think he’s at his best when penetrating where he likes to incorporate his spin move. Added offers from Clemson, Kennesaw State, Mercer, Western Kentucky, FGCU, and Georgia State in June.
Josiah Lawson Josiah Lawson 6’7″ | SF Tucker | 2024 State GA is a big body forward that can play on the perimeter or in the post. Lawson is skilled and polished offensively, able to score and facilitate in a number of ways. He’s tough on the glass as well, no stranger to a double-double. Recently picked up an offer from Lehigh and was a popular name during the June live periods.
David Clark David Clark 6’7″ | PF Wheeler | 2024 State GA made noise last year with a huge junior season at Campbell, sharing Region Player of the Year honors with Jaiun Simon. He’s battled injuries this spring but the talent is still undeniable. At 6’7, Clark is an isolation killer and has a smooth lefty stroke that he can hit off the dribble. I believe Clark is good enough to play for a D1 program but if he falls to a high D2, he’ll be an absolute steal.
