The Grovers had a nice first half and led by 7. The Indians fought back and took the lead in the 3rd quarter. Oak Grove was able to keep it close but ran out of time for a comeback.
Tonight showed how scary of a team Oak Grove is. If they can play with Four Winds, they can beat anyone in Region 1 on any given night.

1. Jaeshaun Shaw Jaeshaun Shaw 5'11" | SG Four Winds | 2021 State ND (2021) |5-10 G| Four Winds/Minnewaukan – 15 points in the game and 3-3 for the charity stripe. He had a nice silky smooth finger roll finish early in the game. I was impressed with his hesitation move and crossover. Jaeshaun has a nice soft floater that he used to score with tonight. He had an explosive finish and “and 1” in the second half that was impressive. He looks to be a solid free-throw shooter. I like how active he is on defense. Jaeshaun is an opportunistic scorer who always seems to be in the right spot when they need a basket.
2. Bronson Walter Bronson Walter 6'10" | C Four Winds/Minnewaukan | 2021 State ND (2021) |6-10 F| Four Winds/Minnewaukan – 18 points in the game with 14 rebounds. I was impressed with his drop-step and left-handed finish in the first half. He made a nice spin-move drop-step in the second half. Bronson had multiple blocked shots in the game. He is great at getting a deep post-up. Bronson is a very strong and powerful post player.
3. Noah Swenson Noah Swenson 6'5" | PF Oak Grove | 2021 State ND (2021) |6-5 F| Oak Grove – 13 points in the game, 5-6 from the free-throw line with 17 rebounds and 4 blocks . His spin move was impressive tonight. He worked hard on his post-D. Noah had a few shifty finishes in the paint tonight that showed his great balance and flexibility.
4. Jayden Yankton Jayden Yankton 6'1" | SG Four Winds/Minnewaukan | 2022 State ND (2022) |6-1 G| Four Winds/Minnewaukan – 15 points in the game, three triples, and 3-5 from the line. He has a great stroke from 3-point land that makes him a deadly shooter. He showed off his vertical when grabbing rebounds. I liked his step-back 3-pointer. He dropped a dime to Walter when attacking the basket. Jayden made clutch free throws at the end to finish the game off.
5. Trevon Rodriguez Trevon Rodriguez 5'11" | PG Oak Grove Lutheran | 2022 State ND (2022) |5-11 G| Oak Grove – 13 points in the game, two triples, and 1-2 from the line with 12 rebounds. I like his floater; it is soft, and he gets it off quickly. Trevon is a very quick player. He made a 3-pointer with 10 seconds left in the game to keep it close. He was great tracking down rebounds last night.
6. Keldon Keja Keldon Keja 5'10" | PG Four Winds/Minnewaukan | 2021 State ND (2021) |5-10 G| Four Winds/Minnewaukan – 2 points in the game. He runs the show for 4-Winds, and he is the primary ball-handler. Keldon is a smart player with extremely good handles and passing ability. He is a tremendous defender on and off the ball.
7. Mason Martinson Mason Martinson 5'11" | PG Oak Grove | 2021 State ND (2021) |5-11 G| Oak Grove – 11 points in the game with three 3-pointers. He does not seem to have a conscience. If he misses a shot it does not affect him. Mason has a soft and quick shot. He needs little room to get his jumper off.
8. Caelen Lohnes Caelen Lohnes 6'1" | SF Four Winds/Minnewaukan | 2021 State ND (2021) |6-1 F| Four Winds/Minnewaukan -4 points in the game. He is a nice athlete. I was impressed with his floater and a nice drive and finish. Caelen had a big steal in the fourth quarter to help seal the victory.
9. Connor Asche (2021) |5-9 G| Oak Grove – 5 points in the game with one triple. He has a nice outside shot and shoots it with a good base. Connor has a quick release. I liked his baseline pull-up jumper.
10. Jonah Jackson Jonah Jackson 6'1" | SF Four Winds/Minnewaukan | 2021 State ND (2021) |6-1 G| Four Winds/Minnewaukan – 2 points in the game. Another gifted athlete for the Indians. He works hard for rebounds and can really get up for the ball. Jonah had an impressive block tonight. I liked how hard he crashed the O-boards.
