Jalen Washington Jalen Washington 6'10" | PF Gary Westside | 2022 State #32 Nation IN (Gary West; PF)
Washington is one of the top players in the entire country and despite just playing seven games in his first two seasons due to injury, he has looked a lot like his old self during his junior season for Gary West.
The 6-foot-9 forward is able to play both on the perimeter and on the block. His extremely improved jump shot has translated to multiple games this season with multiple made 3’s. His standout performance was in the FORUM Tipoff when he scored 23 points and drained four 3’s in a 60-51 win over Southport.
Overall, he has had a very impressive junior season. His athletic ability is there, still just a bit rusty, good length, a very smooth stroke and a growing IQ. He is every part of the reputation that preceded him.
Fletcher Loyer Fletcher Loyer 6'4" | SG Homestead | 2022 State #108 Nation IN (Homestead; SG)
The younger brother of current Michigan State point guard Foster, Fletcher is off to a tremendous start in his junior campaign. He is averaging 25 points this season and continues to emerge as one of the better shooters in the class.
The Purdue commit is the leading scorer in the state in the 2022 class and has the most made 3’s out of any player in the state (50). That’s even more impressive as he plays alongside Illinois commit, Luke Goode Luke Goode 6'6" | SF Homestead | 2021 State #107 Nation IN .
Loyer is still a newer name to the state of Indiana as this is his first year with Homestead after transferring in from Clarkston (MI).
Chris Gunn Chris Gunn 6'5" | SG Lawrence North | 2022 State #114 Nation IN (Lawrence North; SG)
The junior Gunn has really shined in a new role for Lawrence North this season. After a reserve during his sophomore season, Gunn has emerged as a real go-to player.
He is averaging about 15 points per game this season and at times, foul trouble is the only part of the game that can slow him down. He shined in the Marion County Tournament, helping LN to a title. It was highlighted by a 28-point outing against Pike, hitting 3’s, deep 2’s, at the rim and in transition.
LN remains undefeated at 13-0 and remain one of the top teams in the entire country.
D’Ante Davis D’Ante Davis 6'7" | SF Warren Central | 2022 State #132 Nation IN (Warren Central; SF)
Davis made the move this offseason from Lawrence Central to Warren Central, following his dad who now coaches at Warren.
Davis has taken a step up in his production this season after playing behind his brother, D’Andre Davis D’Andre Davis 6'6" | SF Lawrence Central | 2020 State #90 Nation IN , last season. While Warren is struggling a bit, just 7-5, two of its losses have come in hard-fought games against Lawrence North.
Committed to Louisville, Davis is the clear leader for Warren and continues to play better each time out this season and he takes on a larger all-around role as the go-to guy.
Leland Walker Leland Walker 5'11" | PG North Central | 2022 VA (North Central; PG)
Walker is one of the more gifted shot creators in the in-state 2022 class. With his size, he needs to be creative and he finds ways to score and get his shot off, and he finds more ways every game.
The defense continues to zone in on Walker but yet he still has multiple 25+ point games this year. His efficiency can be lower at times just due to his large responsibility for North central.
