The season is moving along and we have had some impressive individual performances so far. Here’s a look at some of the best players across the commonwealth this week.

Standout Performances:

Senior [player_tooltip player_id="923012" first="Connor" last="Robinson"] put up 46 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists last night in a win over Leslie County. Robinson is one of the best scorers in the mountains.

Highlands Latin Senior Justin Gilbert also put up 46 points last night as the Highlanders lost to Kentucky Country Day.

Corbin’s [player_tooltip player_id="1022272" first="Hayden" last="Llewellyn"] had 30 points and 6 rebounds in a 1 point win for the Redhounds in an OT win to start their season.

Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id="932768" first="Colin" last="Porter"] had 23 in a win over Bardstown last night. The Tomcats are off to a strong 4-1 start.

Harlan County is out to a 5-0 start and I was impressed watching them live last night. Senior [player_tooltip player_id="1116661" first="Tyler" last="Cole"] and freshman [player_tooltip player_id="939116" first="Trent" last="Noah"] are a tremendous 1-2 punch as they’re averaging 35 points together.

2024 F [player_tooltip player_id="1088850" first="Beau" last="Baker"] had 24 points and 12 rebounds in the All A earlier this week. At 6’6, Baker has a chance to be a big impact player in the freshman class.

Owen County is 3-1 and 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="1116655" first="Teagan" last="Moore"] had 32 points against Trimble County and is averaging 25 points per game in his Sophomore season. One of the best young small school players in the state!
