<p>Every Wednesday we will bring you the players from Nassau county. Section viii on Long Island. This premiere edition will focus on players under the radar.</p>
<p><strong>Jonathan Harrison. 6”4. 2021. Baldwin HS</strong></p>
<p>Transferring back to Baldwin for his senior year. A slasher type player. Plays above the rim. Finishes through contact. A good athlete who can shoot it well. A scorer of the ball. Working on the defensive side of the ball.</p>
<p><strong>Jordan Evelyn. 6”2 2021. Uniondale HS</strong></p>
<p>Has a nice stroke. Good rotation on his shot. High basketball IQ. Good court vision and awareness. Has a good handle. Working on getting to the basket and setting up teammates.</p>
<p><strong>Michael Hall. 5”9 2022. Baldwin HS</strong></p>
<p>A quick explosive point guard. Is a floor general. Can get to the lane and then dish it off or score the ball himself. Good beyond the arc. Improving his defense.</p>

<p>3-time all-conference and all-county player. Has made N Y state honorable mention each year he’s played in high school. Sees the court well. Good court awareness. Makes the right plays. Can score in a variety of ways. Excellent shooter. Working on going to his right. Will be a nice addition to a college rotation. Brings with his skillset a GPA of 3.2.</p>
<p><strong>Marqiis Samuels 5”11. 2022. East Meadow HS</strong></p>
<p>Career-high of 43 points. But he is considered a pass-first point guard. Relentless defender. Tough rebounder for his size. Solid ball-handler. Sees the floor well. Will sacrifice his body for the team. Needs to be a little more consistent with his shot.</p>
<p><strong>Matt Ollen. 5”9 2022. Floral Park HS</strong></p>
<p>Good rotation on his shot. Can drill the three. Possesses a nice mid-range game. A smart defender off the ball knowing all the right rotations. Looking to add muscle to his frame. </p>
