Top Performers:
Isaiah Carr Isaiah Carr 6'11" | C Las Cruces | 2022 State NM 6’11 PF Nike Team Swoosh: A standout player this weekend. Carr’s defensive blocking ability is special. One of the other scouts said that he was probably one of the best shot blockers in the nation. I could easily see that argument, Carr defends the basket aggressively. His reach is very long which allows him to change shots and block shots easily. He can shoot the long ball well and finish in transition. He has a solid post up game with a soft touch.
Andrew Hommes 6’6 SF Friends of Hoops Seattle: An athletic wing and strong defender with a great upside. A confident ball handler who can find his teammates well. Hommes is a very good rebounder and can handle the ball with confidence and ease while in transition. He can shoot the ball well and finish at the rim efficiently which makes him an all around threat on offense.
Jose Murillo Jose Murillo 6'8" | C Highland | 2022 State NM 6’9 C Nike Team Swoosh: Don’t fall asleep on Jose. He is a force to be dealt with. His large frame allows him to play bully ball. I watched him force his way to the basket on multiple occasions this weekend. He is very aggressive when it comes to shot blocking and he gets a ton of tips. A solid rebounder who is crazy strong. I watched a kid try to rip a loose ball on the floor from Jose and was unsuccessful. Jose had just his left hand on the ball and this kid had both hands and still lost the jump. Jose’s hands were just to big and strong. Don’t forget the name Jose Murillo Jose Murillo 6'8" | C Highland | 2022 State NM or what other scouts are calling him El Gigante (The Giant).
Shane Thomas 6’3 SG Purple Reign: An explosive player who plays extremely well with his teammates and handles the ball well. He has a high IQ and understands the game at a high level. He has long arms and is very bouncy. A very smart player who made great plays all weekend.
