<p>The 2A division features some of the most passionate fans and some talented players. After suffering 3 defeats to Incline during the regular season, West Wendover proved that the 4th time is a charm, getting the monkey off their back, defeating the Highlanders in last year’s title game. In this article, we look at the returning scoring leaders in the 2A division. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="859650" first="Torak" last="TT Valosek"] <em>6’3 SG Incline 2022 (#22PHN 2022)</em> - Valosek returns as one of the most accomplished players in 2A. The physical, downhill playing guard averaged 20ppg last season. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="930659" first="Jake" last="Bevacqua"] <em>5’11 PG The Meadows School 2023 (#14PHN 2023) (featured image)</em> - Bevacqua had an impressive freshmen season. When he was healthy he proved to be a good shooter and big-time scorer. He returns after averaging 19ppg last season. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="927156" first="Cody" last="Zile"] <em>6’3 PF Lincoln County 2021 (#78PHN 2021)</em> - Zile is a multi-level scorer that had some big games last season. He went for 28 against Virgin Valley, 26 against Needles, and 28 against Laughlin in consecutive games. This led to Zile averaging over 18 per game in his junior season. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1088160" first="Dawsen" last="Yeager"] <em>6’0 PG Needles 2021</em> - The sharpshooting guard averaged over 18 per game last year. He used the 3 point line to do it, knocking down over 50 3’s on the season. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="927166" first="Kobe" last="Kelley"] <em>5’10 PG Lincoln County 2021 (#85PHN 2021)</em> - Kelley is a PG that plays with moxie. Capable of going off at any time, Kelley and his over 17ppg average return. </p>
<p>Carlton Moore <em>5’10 PG Mountain View Christian 2021</em> - The underrated Moore was one of the most consistent scorers in 2A last season. He scored in double digits in 20 games last season. He and his almost 17ppg returns for the Saints. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="859669" first="Declan" last="Sawin"] <em>6’3 SF The Founders School 2022 (#39PHN 2022)</em> - The versatile scorer has been the cornerstone of The Founders program. He returns after averaging over 15ppg last year. </p>
