It is Sunday and you know what that means on PHI! We are back with another Senior Sunday where we dive into the recruitments of 2021 prospects across the state. Check out the latest here in Senior Sunday: Recruiting Updates!

[player_tooltip player_id="920944" first="Julius" last="Rollins"] (Hillcrest)

The standout combo forward from Hillcrest has steadily risen up the ranking to his current spot at #13 overall over the past several years. He brings versatility on both ends using his length and athleticism to make an impact on the game. On Saturday evening he made his call committing to Kent State over several other D1 offers.

[player_tooltip player_id="920948" first="Isaiah" last="Stafford"] (Bolingbrook)

One of the best combo guards left on the board is this Bolingbrook standout. Silky smooth player that can play both on and off the ball with his improved playmaking feel and elite shooting. Stafford landed a pair of quality D2 offers this past week from Ferris State and McKendree. Illinois-Springfield, Northern Michigan, and Truman State have already offered. Has several D1 schools heavily monitoring him heading into senior season. Only D1 offer to this point is Chicago State.

[player_tooltip player_id="921009" first="Devon" last="Ellis"] (Conant)

Ellis is an intriguing prospect because he is young for his grade and has a nice combination of strength/skill. The Conant small forward tells us that his plan as of now is to do a year of post grad after his senior campaign. He has spoken with Link Year and Hillcrest. The colleges that have chatted with him the most at this stage are Emporia State, Northern Michigan, and Army.

[player_tooltip player_id="920956" first="Luke" last="Moustakas"] (Brother Rice)

This Brother Rice four man is one of the more coveted D2 post prospects in the state and a big reason why is the way he can shoot it from deep. On his recruitment he told us, "I’ve taken a couple visits to Northwest Missouri State, Northern Michigan, and Lewis. Currently I’m planning visits to Quincy, Wayne State, and Northwest Missouri State again." At this time he holds offers from Northwest Missouri State, Quincy, Lewis, Northern Michigan, Wayne State, and Wisconsin Parkside. Does he plan on signing during the early signing period? "I have a few more visits scheduled, but I would like to make a decision soon."

[player_tooltip player_id="821759" first="Taijon" last="Barry"] (Eisenhower)

Barry is an intriguing upside two way prospect with his length and athleticism. He said Lakeland University and Missouri-St. Louis are the two programs that he has heard from.

[player_tooltip player_id="1049575" first="Marko" last="Anderson"] (Maine South)

Anderson is a mobile post that broke out during the summer for Sharks Basketball on the Prep Hoops Circuit. He dived into his recruitment telling us, “I recently visited North Central and Illinois Wesleyan. I am in regular contact with Cal Lutheran, Loras, and Augustana. I have also heard from quite a few other schools recently, but those are in the early stages.”

[player_tooltip player_id="921069" first="Braden" last="Flanagan"] (Olney)

Flanagan is a tough lead guard that can knock down shots from southern Illinois. He gave us the 411 on his recruitment. “I’ve been in contact with Loras quite a bit and had a great visit in September. Also heard from William Woods. That’s it as of now.”

[player_tooltip player_id="995981" first="Andrew" last="Schluter"] (Sacred Heart Griffin)

We came away impressed with this central Illinois wing during the high school season. PHI caught up with him to see where his recruitment stands. He says the schools that have been talking to him the most are ICC, Parkland, St. Louis Community College, and Wabash Valley. He has already taken a visit to ICC and would like to visit more schools down the road.

[player_tooltip player_id="920987" first="Jared" last="Pearson"] (Maine West)

Pearson is an intriguing guard prospect at the small college level that opened our eyes during last year’s holiday tournament at Wheeling. He broke down the latest, “I just recently took two visits to Loras College and St. Norbert College. I am going to go back to Loras in a week or so to watch a practice and right now I also intend on visiting two more schools Augustana College and Lawrence University. Grinnell College is showing a lot of interest in me as well.”

[player_tooltip player_id="921066" first="Carson" last="Prost"] (Mt. Vernon)

Prost is a sharp shooting two guard that shined last season for the Rams. The Mt. Vernon standout updated us on where his college options stand saying, “I received a roster spot offer from Illinois College a couple weeks ago. I’ve been talking to MoBap a lot and I’m supposed to have a visit soon. I talked to Missouri S&T and Drury a lot over the summer and I’ve also been talking to Rend Lake a lot. McKendree has also talked to me. I talked to Navy and Missouri Southern a little over the summer, but not a whole lot.”
