<p>PrepHoops had two monster events the weekend of August 8-9 in Minnesota and Kansas City. We covered Minnesota live, but don’t fear Illinois teams that were in Kansas City we got you covered too! All this week we are rolling out our Film Room evaluations from the event! Here is <strong>The Finale Film Room: Illinois Bears Ritzel 17U</strong>!</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1049601" first="Buzz" last="Ritzel"] (Nashville – 2021)</strong></p>
<p>Ritzel is a 6’2” combo guard from small school basketball power Nashville. He was very good in this game drilling threes off the catch. Can play both on and off the ball. Crafty with the rock in his hands including scoring on a spinning layup.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1049592" first="Jaxon" last="Goforth"] (Nashville – 2021)</strong></p>
<p>This 6’5” combo forward had a really nice outing for the Bears. Handles it well with both hands and was effective taking it baseline on multiple occasions for left handed layups. Connected on a three from the wing. Defensively he used his length including walling up inside on a few of his opponents drives.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1049607" first="Carson" last="Loepker"] (Breese Mater Dei – 2021)</strong></p>
<p>Loepker is a 5’10” point guard that has crisp handles and is a solid passer. As a scorer he hit a three and was effective getting in the lane for scoop shots.</p>

<p><strong>Nick Warnecke (Breese Central – 2021)</strong></p>
<p>Crafty 6’2”guard that has size and strength more so than athleticism. He got downhill several times on straight line takes where he scored or was fouled.</p>

<p><strong>Haddon Lybarger (Salem – 2021)</strong></p>
<p>Lybarger is a 6’1” combo guard that in this game did most of his damage actually sneaking in from the perimeter for offensive rebounds and put backs.</p>

<p><strong>Aiden Whitlock (Eldorado – 2021)</strong></p>
<p>Whitlock is a 6’4” broad shouldered four man that has a nice frame with broad shoulders. Good area rebounder. Flashed skill on the block including on a spin move and was fouled inside several times. Finished dump off pass from guard. Also made a nice pass of his own when playing as a face up four on the perimeter.</p>
