Frank Evans Frank Evans 6'1" | SG Eldorado | 2022 State NV 6’2 SG Hard 2 Guard 2022 – Evans is one of the smoothest scorers I’ve seen this summer. He gets buckets off the bounce, in transition and has a nice mid range. Sitting out last season, kept him under the radar, however his recent play has made it almost impossible for him to go unnoticed.
Vinny Veikalas Vinny Veikalas 6'3" | SG Valley | 2021 State NV 6’3 SG The Vikings 2021 – Veikalas is coming back into town after a year playing in Colorado, but technically he qualifies as a stock riser. The power guard can do a variety of things on the court, including knocking down open shots, getting in traffic rebounding and scoring in the paint.
Midate Mou Midate Mou 6'1" | SG Trinity | 2021 State NV 6’1 SG Simply Fundamentals 2021 – Mou has been phenomenal with his two way play. He is a ball hawk on defense with quick hands and lateral movements. He also has shown the ability to slash and finish at the rim.
Mason Mich’l Mason Mich’l 6'7" | PF Desert Oasis | 2021 State NV 6’7 PF Hard 2 Guard 2021 – Mich’l has the size, skill and athleticism to be a D1 player. The stretch 4 loves to step outside and shoot the 3, but he has the frame and hops to score down low. An explosive athlete, Mich’l has a good first step and can finish in traffic above the rim.
Donte Turner Donte Turner 6'2" | SF Cimarron | 2022 State NV 6’2 SG Hard 2 Guard 2022 (featured image) – Turner is the type of player that doesn’t need the ball to impact the game. He can defend multiple positions, score in transition and rebound both backboards. Overall like many of the H2G guys, he can best be defined as a winner willing to sacrifice to help his team.
Tommy Brascia 6’7 PF The Chosen Few 2023 – It’s going to be a lot of fun watching Brascia this year. The 6’7 pogo stick tries to dunk everything. He’ll get tip dunks, catch and finish in transition and is looking for as many posters as possible. The California transfer should have a major impact this season.
Khaman Maker Khaman Maker 7'1" | C Trinity | 2024 State #127 Nation NV 7’1 C Vegas Elite 2024 – They say you can’t teach size. So while the 7 foot freshmen may be raw, he does possess an unteachable skill. Right now Maker is most effective when clogging the lane, protecting the rim and controlling the defensive backboard.
Graydon Lemke Graydon Lemke 6'10" | PF Faith Lutheran | 2024 State NV 6’5 SF Leverage 2024 – What impresses me most about the young Lemke is his confidence. I watched him go 0-8 from behind the line in the first half of a game, and you would have never known he missed a shot. Don’t let one bad performance fool you, the freshmen wing is a sniper with the ability to change the scoreboard in a hurry.
Ryder Elisaldez Ryder Elisaldez 6'1" | CG Bishop Gorman | 2024 State NV 6’1 SG Vegas Elite 2024 (#10PHN 2024) – Lot of unranked players on this list. Elisaladez makes it because he’s simply to good to be ranked this low. Kids and parents always ask, how they can move up in the rankings, my future answer is going to be “play like Ryder” Still had one of the most dominant performances that I’ve seen this summer, singlehandedly carrying his team to a victory be scoring or assisting on almost every bucket in the second half.
