Sam Krist Sam Krist 6'5" | PF Rockford | 2021 State MI | 6’6″ F | Rockford
Sam is a dynamic wing/forward who can score in a number of ways for Rockford. As a junior, the offense ran primarily through Sam due to his ability to shoot off the dribble, and get a bucket via dribble drive. He can consistently finish drives with his left hand and is a threat to step back and knock down a jumper from the perimeter.
Trey Bolling | 6’6″ F| East Grand Rapids
Trey is a promising forward for East Grand Rapids who can score using a number of post moves with his back to the basket. He has good footwork and isn’t easily moved out of position due to his lower body strength. On the defensive end, Trey does a good job of defending the rim without fouling. His discipline to stand his ground and wall up is an asset.
Will Maywal | East Kentwood
Will is a lanky wing who uses long strides to cut his way through the lane and attack the rim. He has a good first-step and can score even when off balance. His step-back jumper can open up possibilities for his potential as a scorer and should fit in well with East Kentwood’s system.
Austin Treece | 6’7″ F | Tri-Unity Christian
Austin is a sturdy big who is a threat to score with both hands in the paint. He has nice touch from the low-post and uses the glass effectively. He’s also flashed the ability to shoot it from the mid-range to the perimeter, making him an even tough ask to guard.
Sawyer Wychers | 6’2″ CG | Byron Center
Sawyer is a smooth-shooting lefty who an fill it up from beyond the perimeter, off the dribble in the mid-range, and is a good bet to get to the rim. Sawyer can finish through contact and has a habit of converting tough, off-balanced shots. His motor stands out as well, as he’s usually in the scrum to get a loose ball.
Daane Harvey Daane Harvey 6'2" | PG Forest Hills Central | 2021 State MI | 6’2″ CG | Forest Hills Eastern
Daane is a high-energy combo guard who has a knack for being a disrupter on the defensive end. He does a great job of using his length to cause turnovers and isn’t afraid to step in and take charges. Offensively, Daane is a plus shooter who should see his role expand in his senior season for Forest Hills Eastern.
Cole Shoobridge | 6’6″ F | Middleville Thornapple Kellogg
Cole is a lanky swingman who can guard multiple positions due to his length and athleticism. Offensively, Cole runs the floor well and finishes at the rim off the break. He’s also a plus passer and finds his teammates consistently during transition breaks.
Isaac Northouse | 5’11″ G | South Christian
Isaac is a good shooter whose range extends beyond the perimeter. The bulk of his impact was felt on the defensive end as he commonly disrupted opposing offenses by forcing turnovers. Expect Isaac to continue this trend and find himself in more scoring opportunities offensively in his senior year.
Sam Meengs | 6’3″ F | South Christian
Sam is another talented rising senior whose impact is felt on both sides of the ball for South Christian. His length causes problems for opposing offenses and he uses that asset effectively on the offensive end. Sam should be a key piece in South Christian’s front court in 2020.
Blake Stewart | Guard | Coopersville
Blake did a number of things well in his first full year on varsity for Coopersville. He’s a good shooter from the perimeter who can score effectively off the dribble, but does most of his damage in spot-up situations. He’s active defensively and isn’t afraid to get on the floor. His development will be fun to watch as Coopersville transitions into a new league in 2020.
