He is also a pesky defender who consistently finds ways to generate steals and create opportunities on the other end. He is the epitome of a two-way player, showing the ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. His versatility is further highlighted by his ability to play either guard spot, giving his team added flexibility in the backcourt.

Saenz brings a great deal of versatility to the guard position, showing the ability to score in multiple ways. He can knock down catch-and-shoot looks from beyond the three-point line and attack the basket when opportunities present themselves. I like how Saenz pushes the ball up the floor and plays with a fast pace, consistently looking to keep the defense on its heels. He also does a nice job taking what the defense gives him rather than forcing the issue.

Mercado shows the ability to create his own shot off the bounce and consistently puts pressure on the defense by getting into the paint. I like his ability to operate in the two-man game and find his post players on the block, showing good awareness as a playmaker. He is also a pesky defender who finds ways to generate steals and create opportunities on the other end. Mercado's ability to contribute as both a scorer and facilitator gives him added value on the offensive end.

Schwartz is a capable perimeter shooter who finds ways to score the ball from beyond the three-point line. He also shows good timing as a shot-blocker, giving him the ability to make an impact on the defensive end. Schwartz runs the floor well in transition and consistently finds ways to score in the open court. I like his ability to capitalize on second-chance opportunities, allowing him to contribute as a scorer without needing plays drawn up for him.

McElveen is a rangy swingman who uses his length to disrupt driving lanes and jump passing lanes defensively. He also shows the ability to get out in transition and capitalize on opportunities in the open floor. While he is still a bit raw, McElveen has untapped potential and room to continue developing his game. I would like to see him add strength to his frame, which should help him become more effective on both ends of the floor.
