Wisconsin Sophomore ID Camp: Team 7 Evals

He was calm under pressure, able to maneuver his way out of traps off the dribble or with a pass. Brevan didn't look to score much in the game I watched, but played the role of a true floor general who kept all of his teammates involved and didn't mind passing up a decent look to get an even better shot for someone else. At 6'2 he's able to guard a number of different spots on the floor, and forced some tough looks by getting length up on a shooter. Off a defensive rebound he was looking to get the ball up the floor, either by the dribble or by launching a deep outlet pass up the floor. In the half-court he had some nice drive-and-dish passes that resulted in good looks for his teammates. He's listed at 6'1, and certainly looks a bit longer than I remembered, while also appearing to have added some quickness. Throughout the game I watched he was dangerous getting into his mid-range jumper off one or two dribbles, getting good elevation to score over the top of the defense. Had a really nice assist off of a defensive rebound by picking his head up and throwing a full-court pass. Throughout the game he continued to beat opposing forwards up the floor for easy buckets. Defensively he could move his feet out on the wing or use his long 6'3 frame to alter shots around the rim. At 6'3 he was competing on the glass, and did a nice job of finding a man to box out after shots went up. He would quickly locate his point guard after a defensive rebound was secured. Offensively he could catch on the block and bully his way to the rim, or dribble into a post-up from out on the wing. Able to just move defenders out of his way on the way to the rim where he can finish with touch off the glass. Had a nice drive and finish from the top of the key in the second half just using his frame to shield off defenders on his way to the basket.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
