Wake em Up Prospects: Big Time Summer Players

Some players lock in to the weight room and build their bodies in order to unlock their athleticism. Others just get in the gym, and work on their skill development, IQ and overall feel for the game. He has extended his shooting range, tightened his handle and he has hit the weight room. He has football player size and is playing the game with a ton of confidence. Keep an eye on him at Pleasant Hill because he plays in a system that encourages aggression. He is on a loaded BTW squad and will have to fight for minutes, but this will also give him time to grow into his game. He is a guard with nice size and a quickly developing skill set. Do not be surprised if he grabs some Varsity minutes and produces quickly. He is also a legit two sport standout with tons of upside. I watched him play several games and as a Freshman he was impressive. Watching him this summer, you can see a shift in his game. He is a bigger kid, but he is also more aggressive with the size to impose his will in a game.
