WA Freshman Showcase: Team 7 Evaluations

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The PH Washington Freshman Showcase was last weekend and so many talented athletes came to compete for the class of 2030. So many players stood out and fought hard the whole day! Here is the evaluation for team 7.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#97 - [player_tooltip player_id='3734729' first='Ethan' last='Frybarger'] - Auburn Riverside HS</em></strong> - Ethan was great all showcase, being able to score the ball well from all levels. He used his speed to his advantage to blow by defenders and get in the paint. His lefty jumper is smooth and he can get it off quickly. He was fun to watch and I'm excited to see how his game continues to grow. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#180 - [player_tooltip player_id='3687924' first='Ibrahim' last='Diakite'] - Auburn HS</strong></em> - Ibrahim is an undersized guard but played with strength and fundamentals on the court. He brings energy to both ends, talking a lot of the defensive end and making consistent plays on the offensive end. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#181 - [player_tooltip player_id='3724820' first='Kae'Den' last='Dillard'] - Auburn Riverside HS</strong></em> - Dillard is a shifty guard who uses his quick crossover to attack downhill and get paint touches. He found open pockets nicely, dishing out accurate passes to open teammates. He's got a knock down jumper from deep too, scoring well all day. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#192 - Oakley Thompson - Curtis HS</strong></em> - Oakley is a great shooter from deep and hit many threes throughout the day. He continued to attack downhill by using his speed and quick handles. Thompson has a high basketball IQ and is going to be a name to watch. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#202 - Antonio Darden Jr - Shorecrest HS</strong></em> - Antonio used his size to his advantage often, being able to out-body players in the paint and also get his hands in the passing lanes on the defense end. He attacked the ball smoothly with both hands and was able to finish through contact. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#205 - [player_tooltip player_id='3729197' first='Jack' last='Covey'] - Bainbridge HS</strong></em> - Jack played at a high level throughout the day, being composed with the ball on his hands. He knew was he was going to do with the ball before getting it, staying ready to attack or dish it to open teammates. He has a high IQ on the court and has great point guard instincts. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#210 - [player_tooltip player_id='3736357' first='Jenson' last='Vanderwel'] - Issaquah HS</strong></em> - Jenson was a lights out shooter from deep throughout the day, having a smooth lefty jumper from deep, and the confidence to let it fly. He stayed alert on the defensive end, recovering quickly and staying with opposing players nicely.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#974 - [player_tooltip player_id='3733670' first='Blake' last='Anderson'] - Mead HS</strong></em> - Blake was one of the top performers from the camp. He scored the ball really smooth from all 3 levels, being able to stay balanced and under-control. He finished through contact well throughout the day too, excelling during 5v5 play.
